  1. It amazes me how quick ex footballers (generally not the cleverest of blokes) are to offer up an opinion on shit they know nothing about. Got a lift home today from a lad from work, he likes his talksport. I shit you not, Andy Townsend is running a phone in on whether national service should be compulsory. The mind boggles......
  2. Not that I wear pink but surely based on your trousers logic, black is the only colour shirts should be made of? Or do you own red pants? Green pants? or even yellow pants?
  3. For some reason that line made me piss.
  4. Im more of a mutated sea bass man meself......
  5. How you not click a link with this title: BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Man Utd | Ronaldo victim of 'laser attack' reports of star wars style shoot outs are, unfortunately, grossly exaggerated.
  6. Ha, sorry Id just got back from the match pissed up and thought 'wii is poo' sounded hilarious. Not sure why like.
  7. What? RTK are making up secret songs now and not letting anyone else know the words? Bastards.
  8. Mine seemed to make peoples skin look like cornbeef. Shit no, its steve mclaren....
  9. As per the Justice chant why not just a simple 'stand up if you hate the yanks'. Dont get me wrong the songs/chants people have posted above are good but weve got 3 days and lets face it, theres probably gonna be 35000+ people at the game who dont read the forums. The whole stadium stands, we sing this for the first ten minutes, jobs a good un.
  10. The fact is wherever you sit at the match, your surrounded by people who dont want to sing. Surrounded by people filming Gerrard or Torres. Surrounded by people laughing at the 'hilarious' anti-scouse songs sung by away fans. Surrounded by people clutching liverworld bags full of gear. If this sounds full of generalisations and negativity, tough its fuckin true. The depressing thing is for the first time in years im starting to jib going to the game with alarming regularity and instead sitting in the pub with me mates watching it on some dodgy greek channel. To quote renton, its a shite state of affairs.
  11. Lamps! What the fuck is the world coming to.......
  12. fair enough, the available evidence does tend to point to that conclusion. Its just the odd unexplainable story you hear which has no obvious answer. Me next door neighbour went to a medium who told her (in front of her mates) that she'd had 3 kids, 1 of whom had died at a very young age. All her friends started rubbishing it until she told them she'd had an abortion when she was 14 and never told anyone. It really freaked her out as there was no way this medium could have known about it, she had major guilt issues over it for a long time.
  13. How do you know? You know something the rest of us dont? Just interested like....
  14. Just to throw in the view of someone who isnt a regular poster on any forum, I appreciate reading what Gilly has wrote and agree with pretty much everything that has been said. I dont think any regular match goer can argue with the fact that for most home games the atmosphere at best is mediocre and at worst......you all know anyway. When RTK was first announced I thought it was an excellent idea (partially due to sitting in MX main stand at that Bordeux game which prompted the idea) and welcomed the idea of making songs available on the offal and that. Saying all this I have to confess I havent yet sat in the 1892 block due to two main reasons: 1) My fault, I usually get my tickets on late availability and have to make do with anywhere I can get. 2) I am a wool. Whatever Gilly says about RTK/RAOTL/its not an OOT thing etc (and I firmly believe him) I do feel a certain cowardly unease at the thought of hordes of locals with expensive trainers and a hatred of replica tops baying for my blood because of my woolyback origins. I KNOW this isnt the case yet the odd chinese whisper here, the odd joke there and insecure wools like myself do ponder the whole RTK thing. This is not meant as criticism of the RTK idea or its organisers, just an observation of opinions held by some. I.e. me!
  15. What the fuck is an RTK member? Anyone can get a spec in the 306 block or whatever its called - and then tout it - What the fuck has this got to do with anyone in RTK? Or is this another opportunity to slander the principles of RTK without any proof what so ever?
  16. I think its.... oohh oohh ooohh everton is the team to follow theres nobody better thank mikael arteta the best little spaniard we know Me best mates a blue unfortunately and every time arteta touches the ball he has a wank and sings this song.
  17. Yeah but thats only going to add 100,000's rather than millions, steelwork is usually 5-10% of the overall cost. yes i am a geek.
  18. Nice one mate, i'll have a go of that for the Spurs game. I was just ringing in the morning, didnt realise they just went on randomly like.
  19. Ive done this for the last few years for any games where I was stuck for a ticket, there was a dedicated phone line but its gone this season - have you had any joy? I rang every day all week before the birmingham game and never got a sniff of any spares.
  20. You Wont See Me there. What Goes On at these types of events? All though I could possibly Drive My Car down there. Apologies.......
  21. Is right, Im not from lpool, just down the road (near Newton if anyone knows where that is), no ST just a fancard and I get to around 20 games a season. You have to put a bit of effort in though and thats something most people cant be arsed doing. If I had a pound for every LFC or Manure fan ive heard claim they cant get a ticket yet never try, id have..........loads of pounds. Not a dig at anyone but as they say, dont try - dont get.
  22. Seeing that jogged me memory of something Mr K Dalglish said when asked by that fuckin cunthole how the s*n could get back in everyones good books: “How can we correct the situation?” he said. “You know that big headline – ‘The Truth’?” I replied. “All you have to do is put ‘We lied’ in the same size. Then you might be all right.” Mackenzie said: “I cannot do that.” “Well,” I replied, “I cannot help you then.” That was it. I put the phone down. Merseysiders were outraged by the Sun. A great many still are. Is right Kenny.
  23. I was in the Kop end of the Main Stand and thought it (The Kop) was louder than it has been for a long time (in the league of course). Suppose it depends where your sat really.
