  1. Yes. That's why I said worst "signing" ever. There are a thousand players who are worse than Keita. There are players who cost us titles, like Karius. There are players who literally offered fuck all, like Ferri. There are players who were never of the required standard, like Borini. The criteria has to be agreed on how we measure the worst signing to avoid it being just pub talk. It's not just the fee, it's the expectations of that transfer, it's where we were as a club when we signed him, it's the opportunity cost involved, it's the time given to prove themselves, it's their reliability, and the general performance levels compared to what was expected. You can also factor in what kind of ambassador he was for the club, and the impact he made off the pitch. Keita has failed in every department. Like I said, only Diouf is worse in my opinion. If you're talking about shit players, we've had plenty worse than the names being thrown around here.
  2. I've changed my mind. It's El Haji Diouf for a million and 1 reasons. Keita is in the discussion though.
  3. Keita has done as much as Origi to contribute to our recent success...
  4. They can't fix the books like that
  5. Plus the 2 additional center backs we've had, plus Oxlade, plus Origi, plus Adrian, plus Shaqiri He's just arguing for the sake of it. Probably one of those Naby Ultras on Twitter.
  6. Sorry, I forgot to check in with you on what can be included and in which conversation. That's me told.
  7. Any yet people still talk about Istvan Kozma and Sean Dundee? I see the arguement that when a member of our squad is part of successful a era, they can't be seen as the "worst" anything. I may even come round to that way of thinking. But if you're going on medals as the reason to talk about successful signings, I can use the same arguement the other way round. What was his actual contribution to those? Adrian had a massive part to play in our league title, for example. In our best period in over 30 years, think about what more we could have achieved had Keita not been such a flop. Oxlade had a serious injury to contend with, and was bought well before we'd established ourselves as THE top side in world football. He'll go down as a flop, but he made a massive impact in 2018. Clough made an impact in his time here. As did Collymore. They have all, and will continue to be in footballing videos throughout history. Keita won't.
  8. I hear you, and probably agree on the term. But watch that first Milan goal and keep an eye on him. It's indefensible.
  9. Any talented player looks good when we're in that mood. It's what happens when he's needed that's the problem.
  10. It's definitely not simple. I've definitely arrived at that conclusion though. He was given the #8, used up our entire budget, and was meant to take us to the next level. Aquilani was a replacement for Alonso, and was never expected to take us up a level. Same with Carrol and Torres. Balotelli and Suarez. All 3 players came in when a superior player fucked us off for a 'better' club. Keita came in when we could have bought almost ANY player in world football. As for Kozma, Dundee, Gonzalez, Aspas etc al, these were all clearly punts to beef up the squad. As far as transfers go, they're not even in the same conversation. Markovic is the only one who comes close to Keita in terms of the worst ever, and he was brought in as potential rather than ready made, which is why Keita 'wins it'.
  11. Most of them impacted the result, positively, in at least one meaningful game, bar Dundee. An none of them had the number of opportunities this cunt has had. You can go on that too.
  12. When Naby Keita finally fucks off, he'll be remembered for pulling out of challenges, doing fuck all with the ball, getting nutmegged, being easily brushed off the ball, giving needless fouls away, and constantly losing his man. Worst signing ever.
  13. Anyone unsure about Keita, watch the first Milan goal again and keep an eye on him. He's a fucking liability. Mo's scored at least half a dozen penalties with the same effort. I reckon the keepers off his line too, but why was it never checked? This is a classic case of no pressure on the opposition, and us getting sloppy because of how shite they are.
  14. Origi up front. Klopp must think Milan are shite. At least its not Ox in the 9!
  15. You need to plug it at the end of each episode too. But I'll stop reminding you
  16. You'll find thousands of posts like this over the past 2 or so years. Hopefully we'll get thousands more.
  17. They're fucking cunts. What's the point of removing the ticket exchange for this? How does it help anyone?
