  1. ..a few of you may know (as I have already posted 4612 requests for help) that the registry fucked up on my girlfriend's laptop. This led to us having to run the system recovery disc, which meant we lost all but windows. I have now reinstalled everything, but there are two quirks to the internet that were never there before... 1) We have Broadband through Blueyonder, which I find to be pretty damn reliable. We had no problems with it before. But now, it is doing some fucked up things. If I go on skysports.com and click on the link to the football page, it always comes up with the server cannot be found etc screen. What's doubly weird is that this then kills our connection and I have to restart the computer and the modem to be able to connect again. A similar thing is also happening with currys/dixons.co.uk. With these sites (which are obviously the same but with different logos), when I go to look at their LCD tvs, the pictures don't load and again, our internet connection dies. What the hell is going on? 2) Youtube, Googlevideo etc...these used to work absolutely fine, but now every video plays the first two seconds then stops. I have downloaded Shockwave so I don't understand at all. Please help someone, as this is doing my computer-naive head in..
  2. Definitely Loveless by My Bloody Valentine. You should also get Nowhere by Ride if you're in an early 90s shoegazing vibe, or Xtrmintr by Primal Scream as it's ace and Kevin Shields form MBV is on it. If you want to branch out a little, Illmatic by Nas is an accessible but utterly genius hip hop LP.
  3. Cherno Samba. Or Jack Hobbs. Quite like Bert Trautman too. Did you know he broke his....
  4. Went to see a play called The Exonerated tonight. It consists of actors delivering readings from six prisoners who were on Death Row in America only to be acquitted of the crimes they were there for. Some unbelievably frightening stuff in there, it certainly isn't just Bulgaria with a dubious justice system. Anyone who genuinely believes in capital punishment should be forced to see this play. I don't go to the theatre much, but when a production is as important as this, it is the most powerful art form there is.
  5. Alright, Shidar. Whatever floats your boat.. And it's anAgram
  6. Genius. Business 101 with the radish..
  7. I do too, but mainly because he'll get it so spectacularly wrong that hopefully post England job he'll have to go down to non-league level, thus sparing me in the long term from having to listen to his moronic ramblings every week.
  8. That sounds well cool. Is there an Xpert Eleven version?
  9. Que? And come to mention it, were the other two hockey and football?
  10. What was the third sport he represented Sweden in?
  11. So ace they probably came up with it first and invented the story around it. It was either smoking or wearing corsets.
  12. He's a cockernee isn't he? Probably just homesick..
  13. You'd presume right, so let's leave it there. Incidentally, have been on the Atletico site and still can't find any official confirmation of this.
  14. I severely doubt that quashing another country's conviction is doable without breaking numerous international laws.
  15. Is it actually 100% confirmed as I can't read Spanish and can't find the story anywhere else yet? Assuming it is true, I have to say I'm a little gutted. I have no reason to be so, I've never seen him play after all, but I just really liked the idea of us having the next South American genius..
