I honestly think it is. When he says he wants America to own Greenland or Ukraine or Gaza, he means he wants companies to funnel money directly from them into his pockets. When we accept that that's who he is - things make much more sense. For example, he's often derided as thick, which he is in a sense, but it's more a case of he doesn't care about history, geography, life religion or the universe unless there's money in it. He doesn't care about his kids, his wife, or anyone else - just himself and how he's going to make money. He's a gangster. He's a mob boss. Mob bosses do everything they do for money. It's why they get up in the morning. There's a scene in the Sopranos where Tony is eating a cake while someone is talking to him and David Chase the writer says that Tony is the ultimate consumer, he eats everything in front of him - whether it's a cake, a bottle of wine or your business. Every relationship, every conversation, every action is about steering something towards some sort of personal gain for himself and him alone.

Substation fire in London closes Heathrow for the day. Nailed on, nailed on ruskie.

There are issues around immigration which need addressing, what wrecks my head is that the people who stamp their feet about it are not remotely, genuinely arsed. Tice, Farage, Jenrick, right wing press, Robinson. They're just cultivating anger for their own purposes, grift, money, attention usually. That's what I can't abide. If there was someone championing the things I want, such as making utilities public and building more affordable homes, if that person clearly, obviously, didn't really give a fuck about those things and just clearly thought I was an easy mark, I wouldn't back them.

Imagine telling Letby when she was a kid that one day Hicks and Rico would be jousting over the Internet about her CSI style shit.

Yanks are just full of shit. They ban Harry Potter books but welcome Andrew Tate with open arms.

Been tidying some of the lads up. Been loving a few of the new Casios lately. None of these were particularly dear. The titanium citizen at the top/middle was about 180 in a sale. Some of the casios between 15 and 30 quid. Couple of solar G Shocks too which are boss.

Fucking hell, we're fucking fucked.

Same with Tory voters though, by its nature the right is zero sum game, for every winner there's a loser, the problem is the window of losers got wider and wider. Single mums - don't care Bedroom tax - don't care Mortgage rates - woah there Nelly! I remember Iain Dale going ballistic about Braverman on his LBC show one day about a year ago, like he'd only just noticed she was a cunt. Why? Because she'd said something about gays, and he's gay.

Hedge funds are the reason society and councils are on their arse. They buy cheap houses and turn them into HMOs, Serco own a lot of them so you end up with refugees being crammed into them in poor areas. They buy up other houses and turn them into "children's homes", stick Two minimum wage workers in them and charge 15k a head a WEEK to the council to look after each kid. Can be about 25m a year for fewer than 100 kids.

She's just a vassal for every failed economic policy of the last 40 years.

The problem with Starmer and Reeves is they're empty headed, by that I don't mean unintelligent (clearly), but they're malleable. The people in their ear, from as soon as it became clear they were gonna win, would be the same old cunts. Think tanks, Murdoch, banks. This is what you get, high vis vests, hard hats, and frugal living for everyone except the people in their ear.

Sorry to hear that Harry and hope he pulls through, I have to say though, the word 'ailment' is doing some heavy lifting there.

I don't know that many were duped by Starmer, he's about as inspirational as seeing Rocky in a coma, more the fact he was the least worst option, which remains the case when you look at Badenoch. Their big policy release yesterday was no to net zero by 2050 or some shit, they also said the benefits cuts didn't go far enough.

Putin attacked a power plant overnight, great success!

German lawmakers have voted to allow a huge increase in defence and infrastructure spending - a seismic shift for the country that could reshape European defence.

I don't think the maga types understand, or care, that rule of law is essential for people to want to do business with you. It'll end up being perceived like a naughties Russia, like the wild west where you can make good money but only if you line pockets.

They deported people despite the judge ordering them not to, it's officially lawless.

Trump said something the other day about wanting to divide up the power stations (!?) I don't think he's adroit at keeping his cards close to his chest.

They're shite Labour but I still don't know what the alternative is. They depend on that fact obviously, and always have in places like this. If people hadn't voted for them there'd be Badenoch in there spouting shit about grooming gangs and whatnot. It's a poor set of options.
