    Nah the traditional position was that there was no concept of long imprisonment. Gaol was used to await trial or await execution or deportation etc. In the 19th Century as we moved towards a Beccarian strategy of punishment then we introduced differentiated terms of imprisonment and then we started to use the term prison etc

    Twas 10 series. At its best it was as good as anything. However, of the 236 only a dozen or so can be classified as such. There is an awful lot of other excellent stuff but as with most US sitcoms it went on too long and became stale

Episode 1 is cack Episode 2 is much better but nowhere near classic Frasier standards The Martin character is filled by his son, Daphne by the live in friend of his son, and the role of Niles is played by the son of Niles.
