  1. So, potentially Leverkusen in the final.
  2. United did same today. Ten Hag manages every 5 games what Klopp manages every 160 (that is, twice in his entire time here).
  3. Man Utd have faced 414 shots this season, the fourth-most behind Sheffield United, Luton Town and West Ham. That is an extraordinary figure that has resulted, in part, from a particularly poor last five Premier League matches, in which United have faced 100 shots. Compared with their supposed rivals, Man Utd are well below where they should be, as Sky Sports revealed on Monday Night Football: Ten Hag's team have faced 20 or more shots in 12 of his league matches as Man Utd manager, or once every 5.3 fixtures. Mikel Arteta, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are nowhere near that figure, with their sides facing 20 or more shots every 23, 73 and 161 matches respectively. This season, United have faced at least 16 shots in a Premier League on 14 occasions. City have done so twice, while Arsenal not once.
  4. Yep, same thing happening to us and penalty decision for foul on Danns somehow absent from highlights.
  5. That's Match of the Day and the Guardian that chose to ignore same thing happening to us. Which would be fine. A mere oversight. Had Klopp not drawn their attention to it.
  6. I've been traumatised by '80s music, so the saxophone is a complete turn-off for me. If she were to switch to the trombone, however...
  7. Matip must be on good money, too.
  8. Wasn't just what he said - also how he said it. Thinks he's the "Pep" of the Championship - with his fashionable football that will see them flop in the playoffs - and acts accordingly.
  9. One of that new breed of smug gobshites in Championship management. Reminds me of that Welsh weirdo that Southampton had previously.
  10. It was an honest mistake. Just happened to be true.
  11. I love rugby union as a sport, never having played it or attended a rugby school. But the Aviva / Leinster culture is repugnant. Atmosphere at the ground appalling / supporters a bunch of entitled gobshites. Thankfully, Munster exists. Having lived for some years in Limerick, the culture around that club is much more tolerable.
  12. A lot depends on the opposition. Ireland has played entertaining games over the last year against France, South Africa, Scotland, and New Zealand. But they're efficient enough to win boring against the dross. Regarding this game, Welsh defence and poor lineouts are preventing better attack.
  13. Van der Vaart on Henderson (0 wins in 4 games): "Ajax have brought in players with zero quality. The club will now have to see out the rest of the season. "They have brought in Jordan Henderson. All he does is to play a little pass out wide, or a little pass back. But nobody will be happy with that."
  14. Doesn't his dad do the Guardian Weekly podcast? He's actually good on there, too.
  15. The context is our transfer and wage bill versus theirs. And I mean tonight's side.
  16. I got shit earlier in season for laughing at Elliott's chronic inability to strike a football. Just before he scored a nice goal against I don't recall whom. But I genuinely don't understand how a professional footballer can be so fucking hopeless at kicking a football.
