I didn't realise boxing pay per views were so much. I've paid for footy games before at around $15-$20, this fight is $55! Bit of a rip when it could be over in no time.

First thing I thought after reading that was the Fred Barras case, the pikey who was shot and killed when caught in some fella's house. The killer got man slaughter I believe. I think as soon as someone breaks in all bets are off and you should be able to defend however you see fit.

Strangely this film hasn't had any exposure here, it opened on a very limited release in September and you'll struggle to see it anywhere right now. As for film of the year No Country for Old Men deserves a mention although those in the UK won't get the chance to see it until the new year.

It's interesting looking back at Ben Johnson, he was treated like a leper. Since then there have been so many positive steroid tests and they never seem to get the treatment he did. Maybe it was because he was one of the first major ones to get caught.

I've often been puzzled by the importance Americans regard popularity, it starts in the Schools here. They have all kinds of awards in the Schools where the students vote, shite like most popular, most likely to succeed, most beautiful. Even the Teachers get in on it with Teacher of the year award where the students vote for their favourite. It's a load of false, pretentious bollocks. If all your mates have one of those accounts I can see the benefit and I'm not knocking anyone that has it.

Assuming it's true for just a minute, what would Capello hope to gain by coming out with this? The only thing I can think of is that he wanted to use it as leverage for a different job (England?) or Liverpool backed out and he's bitter. I think it's bollocks but even if it was true there's no way he'll be our manager now as I'm sure our owners would have requested that he kept quiet until terms and conditions were agreed. Another 20 pager on the cards, might be better to just delete it. :)
