The minor players like Galletti, or Mintal are all good players, indeed Mintal has just finished joint third in the European Golden boot. It looks as Rafa is looking at striking a balance across the whole squad, I still believe that there will be more than one big name signing, but with players like Gerard or D'Allesandro available on free transfers there is no need to break the bank.
