  1. as Batman said, its not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me. therefore you are correct
  2. I tend to have tuna mayo on wholemeal bread mon and tuesday then usually ham or some other sliced meat along with cheese mayo and lettuce on the same bread. Sometimes, after we have a roast dinner, I make a sandwich based on the left overs - some of the roast meat, sliced up roast potato, slice of bread soaked in the gravy. yum. fav sandwich is the meatball sub. Does anyone else supplement their sandwich with extra grub and if so what - I tend to sometimes go for a sausage roll, crisps, apple and a choc bar. And sometimes soup.
  3. Things dont really add up - we were selling Alonso, for say £15mill, to help buy Barry for around £18 mill. So I can only see that the Alonso sale falling through would affect the Barry signing. Funds to buy Keane/Villa/Del Silva (the latter two cant see us getting anyway no matter what) must be coming from somewhere else.
  4. woohoo - I passed on this news a couple of months ago, and turns out it was true. Well done me! http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/ff-football-forum/57980-will-pako-return.html#post1032670
  5. my code is 3394-3713-2380 - what are people's current online scores out of interest? I managed to get mine up to 5200 last night after having a mare and nearly going below the 5000 mark...
  6. Interestingly Lewis's, I mean John Lewis, in Sheffield used to be called Cole Brothers....
  7. I am liking that bad boy - plus the price looks good too
  8. So you say...or is it not that more people view the General Forum therefore I am being exposed to a wider audience, even though the topic is not what people might expect?
  9. well normally I can sit in the lounge on the sofa whilst viewing something on the laptop. A monitor is not ideal with my sofa requirements although I did think about it.
  10. very true, but sometimes things just happen and sometimes things are out of your control. And I only just noticed it is now named the techy forum and not the footy manager games thingy forum. 529 is within the price range plus thats an immense amount of gb.
  11. cheers. Will have a look at LEWIS'S at lunch today in sunny sheff. Is only for around the home so weight and size doesn't matter - 17" sounds good. Has anyone heard of a case you can place around a hard disc and then you can use it as an external hard drive - that way I can keep everything I have on my existing laptop at the moment?
  12. Cheers - was hoping for something around the £500 mark - doesn't need to be anything mega special - just require wireless networking/bluetooth, dvd burner, decent hard disc space. They are the main requirements. Also need some decent dvd burning software as the one I was using is a pile of cack.
  13. The screen on my laptop has died a death and refuse to pay £300 - £400 just to fix it so am looking at getting a new laptop - any recommendations and also good places to buy from? Ta
  14. I had the w850i which served me well - good camera, decent mp3 player, radio. Have now just upgraded to a SE P1i which has the added bonus of wi-fi and also can watch films on it.
  15. bah! not even had time to do 50cc as yet. Need to book some serious time to this game asap.
