Where's throwing that money around got those teams though? I'd rather we bought players that will improve the team so we can win a cup now and again rather than do a Newcastle (who've won nothing for going on 60 years incase you'd not noticed) and throw money at strikers just to keep the natives onside when it's painfully obvious a couple of quality defenders would be more useful

Do you actually have a clue or does your "Fit bird" have to buy them all for you? So who got in the likes of Alonso, Garcia, Momo etc if it wasn't Parry? Do you want to sell up to the first dictator that offers us a couple of million? Owen repeatedly said he was going to sign the contract, Parry couldn't force a pen into his hand and make him sign. Fair enough if he doesn't return calls straight away. I think you'll find that it's more to do with the various groups sticking their noses in that's holding up the building of the new ground rather than Parry lying infront of the JCBs etc. You really are a stupid pretend fan of the highest order.

Most of the players have the right names it's just the clubs that have changed ones, we're called Merseyside Reds but you can change all of that on the edit screen. The game itself's a load harder than the last one, more of a midfield slog as nearly everyone plays a 4-5-1 and the defences drop right back once you get the ball.

Rash you're missing an important point there, Heskey was being defended by Ged after misfiring for a couple of seasons, Crouch hasn't even had a full season and people are jumping on him. Why don't you wait until the bloke's had a decent period to prove his worth one way or the other and then rip into him or suck him off. Just a thought like

Rash, have you watched the last few games? Crouch is trying to do his part, he's holding the ball up and trying to let the midfield push up and support him. It's not his fault if that's happening, the whole system Rafa's trying to play falls apart if the man up front gets no support. I agree we need someone else supporting Crouch upfront at the minute but your continual reciting the same pigging stats over and over isn't going to make Rafa pick Cisse. He sees the guy everyday at training and is obviously seeing something you don't.

Sorry to geg in here but if it's down to sheer technical ability that makes someone the best player at a club then isn't Vlad ours? I don't want to look like I'm jumping on the bash Rash bandwagon but Steven hasn't been our best player this season by a long way, people like Finnan, Traore and Carra have shown more. We all know that Steven can do amazing stuff and got us to the CL pretty much singlehandedly but this year he hasn't look arsed, he looks like he's counting the matches down and apart from THAT goal to get us to the knockout stages he hasn't performed as well as we know he can. Whatever happens between now and the end of the season doesn't matter, He'll be gone within a week of the final game.
