  1. They may be able to steal the money from the club, but they’re not getting their hands on mine. Not one penny more. The minute this is official I’ll be on my own sole boycott crusade. You lot do what you feel, go to the matches, enjoy it if you can. I hope you'll be able to, you're all great people. However, as far as I’m concerned, we might as well get into that Leeds situation sooner rather than later. The sooner I could start supporting a new Liverpool F.C. the better.
  2. A source close to someone who’s close to the family got hold of this letter to Mr. Gillett: Dear George, mate It’s been some nerve wrecking days hasn’t it? Having to secure a dodgy loan with £220M is quite a gamble. But now we’re home free. If all goes wrong from here on, our risk is only $55M, about the same we’ve been tapping out of that soccer club. As we’ve now removed the risk of losing, we can start thinking about making a profit. I suggest we make some new drawings of a new stadium and present them as architect drawings. Let’s give those Scouse suckers something to cheer them up, a little optimism to ease the resistance. One thing we have to agree upon is whether to slaughter them now or later. If we do it slowly we’ll probably earn more, but those fans are going to be mad again when we don’t invest in new players this summer. Maybe it’s better to tap as much as we can now, and leave them before next season? What do you think? Anyhow, I guess you as well as me are finished going to that dirty English city. Strange people those scousers. Almost feel sorry for them, those naïve suckers. Open the champagne mate. Cheers! Tom
  3. Think we'd need a full scale boycott or fans strike. Can't see that happen. I'll support anyone who tries though. Empty Anfield for Inter match might do it, but it ain't gonna happen mate.
  4. This is it fellow Redmen, Today, January 23rd 2008, Liverpool F.C. died. Thank you for all the sweet memories. We walked together. Some day a new Liverpool F.C. will rise from the ashes. LFC is dead – Long Live LFC! R.I.P.
  5. Neil on the head! Only hope is they don't get that loan. I’m clinching my hope on the fact there’s a risk the bank may loose their money if the loan’s only secured against club assets. Until proven otherwise I still hope RBS/other banks will turn them down.
  6. Too optimistic I’m afraid. We can’t compete at the top level and at the same time service the £350M loan. We know it, I’ll bet you the yanks know it too. If (let’s pray not) they get their loan, the yanks would’ve saved their own asses and probably have taken out a small profit as well. Part one of Butcher plan accomplished. Then undoubtedly we’ll be presented with new stadium plans, and tales of a rosy red future. Then it’s time for Butcher plan part two; milking the cow. I don’t know how they’ll do it but they will do it. Maybe they’ll start working on a new stadium maybe not. Eventually, after the yanks have pocketed another £100M we’ll be left to die. Loan granted = RIP Liverpool FC.
  7. No need to wait a few months. Cardie's already got that nice familiar look. Imagine a real cunt with legs - now that would be a scary animal.

  9. Spot on! Doubt you could rock that Cardie fella though, he's got his mind made up in cement
  10. One problem isn't it. You talk about a 70000 seater, but there's no money available to build it. The 350M loan (30M yearly interest) isn't for the new stadium!
  11. No need to play the numbers game. The fact is £30M extra each year means £30M less for new players. And we've never spent £30M net on new players. I believe we'd struggle with that loan, you say we'll have no problems. I suggest we agree to disagree.
  12. The maths thing was just to visualize how much money £30M actually is. If Inter beats us and we don’t win the FA-cup I guess our total income this season would be around 110-120M. That’s just about enough to balance the books and maybe give us a small profit. With an additional 30M interest cost we’ll be very close to Leeds.
  13. There's been TV money previous years also, only not as much. For the sake of argument let’s say we do get £45M this year. How much was it before, 35M? In 2005, after winning the CL, I think our total income that year was around £125M. After paying costs we only had a small profit around £10M. That profit is needed to strengthen the squad with new players. Some maths to prove my point: Liverpool sell out all their PL home games. Total revenue from Anfield ticket sales are: 19 matches *45000 tickets * £32 = £27 million. I think we’ll struggle if we’re burdened with that extra £30M/year. Remember the loan is not to build a new stadium, it’s meant to pay back the yanks, not one penny is for us.
  14. Point is: I feel absolutely sure we’re going down with the yanks. You’re right DIC may drag us down as well, as a matter of fact it might even be the probable scenario. But we don’t know for sure. There’s a possibility that DIC wants to stay with us long term earning their money through profits with the club. There’s a possibility they want to bring success to the club. If facing certain death, you’d take the 20% chance of survival wouldn’t you?
  15. I think its reason to hope the yanks are fucked, the molester being the Arabs. They have DIC so far up their arses we can see it true their throats. That’s why only shit’s coming out of their mouths. Until a new stadium is ready Liverpool F.C. can’t afford to pay £30M/year interest on that £350M loan. To cope we’d need CL football every year, and we’d have to do that without funds for new players. C’mon, wake up! Last night suggested we might be out of CL football as early as next season. Thanks to the protests last night suggested fans might boycott their own club reducing income further. Only a total idiot would give the yanks a £350 loan only secured against the assets of the club. The risk of losing out is simply too high. So they ask Hicks to cough up something better as collateral. When he refuses, the normal reaction would be: If Hicks doesn’t believe in this, why should we?
  16. Thx TG3. OOT'er and not going to be there myself. While I'm at it, here's another one: RBS! Not afraid of a boycott? Ask the rag!
  17. Would be like any ordinary half time break, only a bit crowdier. Lots of space underneath the Kop isn't it?
  18. Banner: RBS! Stop the loan! We won’t be here to pay you back.
  19. Has anyone told the banks ready to give the loan to Waldorff & Statler they might loose their money? Surely "club assets!" includes us, or rather the money we're going to spend in years to come. If we can convince them the club assets are a dodgy security, they might not loan them the money, or at least demand that they provide security for it outside LFC.
  20. A boycott of the offal shop is likely to succeed. You'd have to have people outside the shop informing the not-knowing fans about the boycott and ask them to join by not entering the shop. 99,99% would join the boycott. No need to pysically stop anyone, a friendly "don't go inside please!" would do.
  21. One thing I can’t understand. The yanks bought us for 219M last year. That was too much for DIC, they didn’t want to go above that. Now, all of a sudden, at a time when we’re out of the title race, they’re willing to pay at least 150M for 50%. Why?
  22. If we made it perfectly clear to Hicks he’s not welcome. If we got the message out the streets of Liverpool would be as dangerous to him as Teheran would be for his president. Then maybe he’d know his days are numbered here. Let’s deliver him the message: We absolutely despise you, you fat greedy american cunt of cunts,
  23. My guess (and guessing is what we’re doing) is Hicks wants out, He’d be happy to end his Liverpool story with a profit. But I can’t really see DIC offering him much more than they offered Moores last year. I hope there’s enough pressure on Hicks, so that he’ll have to sell even if he doesn’t gain.
  24. Good post. Time has come to put our differences away and stand together. I suggested this song in another thread. Not very original, but everyone knows it, and it’s easy to sing Gillette and Hicks are full of shit Gillette and Hicks are full of shit They’re talking shit, shit and more shit Gillette and Hicks are full of shit … Raaafaa Rafael, Rafa……
