I know fuck all about business deals or anything like that, so I can only go on what was said by the source. If you were in M&P's position you wouldn't have had a choice. They offered more money than DIC so, from what I am led to believe, they were legally bound to sell to the highest bidder. Something to do with responsibility to shareholders.
