  1. It will deffo be at a neutral venue as Haifa is one of the cities under repeated rocket attack.
  2. The presence of Pelligrino as competition also made Hyypia a better player.
  3. Click Here Good luck Didi, many thanks for being a wonderful player. Please don't lose the accent
  4. ...who thought to myself "you better get used to this Ballack" when he was seen crying after losing a semi-final with YNWA being sung in the background?
  5. It is not just Sven who thinks that the sun shines out of FF's arse... Every Ingurland fan I speak to thinks the same way. Roll on July 15th!!!
  6. I lived in Sheffield for about 5 years and I loved the place. It is a city that is made up of several areas each of which have a friendly village type feel. Don't get me wrong, there are some "not so nice" places to live (Manor being probably the worst). I personally would recommend living in the Broomhill area of the city (if you can afford it) as it has lovely tree lined streets, plenty of ammenities and is only a 10 minute bus or tram to the city centre. Eccelsall Road, Crookes & Hunters Bar are also nice places with plenty of shops, restaurants & bars etc. I wouldn't try to drive around there much as it is a nightmare to get around and park, however the public transport system is excellent with buses every 5 mins or so, plus a 24 hour bus service to and from the city centre for several areas of the city. As for the nightlife then I wouls recommend Eccelsall Road, West Street & Division Street as being the best places with lots of cool bars. As for clubbing then if you like Disco music then "Hot Pants" at the City Hall Ballroom is excellent on a Saturday night. For real dance music type clubbing then Republic or Bed are two good clubs. If Indie music is your thing then the Leadmill is great along with the Octagon (University of Sheffield's Union) which hosts plenty of good "up and coming" bands. Both of the student unions are also a good night out for a bit of cheap beer. Anyway, I hope this helps.
  7. I totally agree with you Stu, all these yellow cards for what I believe are perfectly fair challenges just give diving twats like Robben & Co more incentive to fall to the ground like they have been shot! FIFA are just making the game worse by trying to remove a core element of it... Knobs!!!
  8. I watched last nights program about England in the world cup and I could have sworn that I heard YNWA being sung near the end of normal time in the 1966 final. I could have heard wrong though.
  9. I know this thread was set up to have a go at my namesake Matthew Taylor, I am well chuffed that my name is a thread on the FF. I know that means f#@k all to you lot, but I had to say it.
  10. Fernando Torres is not coming to Liverpool... He has just started as an Engineer working in one of our US offices!!! Before you say I am talking bollocks we had an Email last week congratulating Fernando Torres on his first day. I did send him an Email to ask why he left Athletico, however I have not yet recieved a reply!
  11. The linesman deffo gave it as offside as he simple lifted his flag then pointed it upwards at an angle of 45° to indicate that it was Fowler who was "offside". If he had seen a handball then not only would he have the eyesight of a hawk but he would have waved his flag in the air and pointed along the line in the direction of the offending team. Either way he is a knob!
  12. A guy in front of me was reading the programme when we had a corner :no I don't know why some people even bother going.
  13. It was like a morgue in there yesterday, apart from block 202 who sang all day. I was in 203 and tried every now and then to join in, however no one else around me could be bothered. I eventually gave up trying. :wallbutt: I did like the "We all dream of a Kop that f#@king sings" song.
  14. It's a good job Steve Bennett wasn't there, as he would have booked him!
  15. Yes, Mick still runs the coach with his son (Dave) helping out with dishing out tickets & collecting money etc. It is a fantastic supporters club with Mick & Dave being legends when it comes to getting tickets. Have you been with them in the past?
  16. Dave, I travel to the home games with the Nottingham branch. So the next time I am on the coach I will ask around to make sure that it will be OK for me to sell a few copies for you. As I am up in the North West this weekend I won't be on the coach for the match with the Mancs, however I will be on it for the Man City game so I will ask them then.
  17. However Darren Bent has admitted that he dived for the Pen on Wednesday. Click Here
  18. You are not the only one. When Fowler came on Moro instinctively knew how to play with him and his movement and overall play significantly improved. One thing I did notice is that Moro couldn't control the ball with his chest all night.
