5. Cheers, gents. Unfortunately, despite being just 3 years old or so, my 32 inch doesn't have a socket for a monitor lead, nor does it have a USB slot. Yet me ma's cheap Luxor effort does.

7. Don't give up hope. I was the same at 28/29. However, in the space of about 12 months I got a job and met a girl. 5 years later, we moved into our own house and then had a baby. I know things are different now - I am 10 years older and was made redundant 6 months ago and am struggling to find employment myself at the mo so we're struggling to pay our household debts, mortgage etc - but for over 10 years I was proof that things can get better and more often than not do. Keep your chin up, mate, and good luck.
8. On on ITV in 47 mins. Classic:
9. Cheers, Russ. Don't think my being a good boy this year for Santa will stretch to a new telly!
10. Cheers, Lee. Suppose what I want mainly is to watch .avi files on my telly. No particular desire to have a blu-ray player, although the upscaling of DVDs would be good. Maybe what I should be asking is there a way to play my .avi files direct from the PC on the telly.... :wallbutt:
11. Thanks. How much are game servers? Don't particularly wanna buy a PS3, unless it worked out cheaper. I assume there's no blu-ray players that can do the job, then?
12. Thinking of getting one of these. Would like to be able to play films off my PC. Is it possible to get a blu ray player connected to your PC via your network? If so, can anyone recommend a decent, cheap (ish) one? Gracias.
13. As usual, some crackers. May I add... Guess Who - American Woman Wolfmother - Joker and the Thief
14. I'm sure someone must have done this thread before, but can't be arsed messing with the Search thing on here. Anyways... Who would you most like to play hide the sausage with? Rita's got the best eyes I have possibly ever seen, and a fine set of udders. But there's just something about Deb. She's not as well-endowed as Rita, but she's much easier I reckon. And I love her mouth. And her attitude. But reckon it'd have to be Rita for me.
15. My daughter's just started in reception. She'd been to school nursery for the previous year, but she was in at 8.30am as she was in wrap-around (all day as opposed to the normal half), which meant we would only see the odd other parent. Now she's in reception and, due to a change in my circumstances, we/I take her to school at the normal school opening time on 8.55am. I've come to notice the looks on the parents' faces - particularly the mothers'. You've never seen a bunch of such sour-faced, miserable shower in your life. You just wonder how the kids will turn out if that's what they're raised by. I know it doesn't necessarily follow that miserable parent = miserable kid - and it could be argued that at least they've made the effort to put their coat on over their pyjamas to take their kids to school in the first place (they'd only get in the way of Jeremy Kyle) - but there seems to be little warmth out there for the kids.
16. BBC1 now. 'Epic Win'. The most inappropriately named programme ever? A dry 'Hole in the Wall'. Shocking stuff.
17. 'When She Loved Me' from Toy Story 2:
18. Yeah. The others were far right, Kop end. Only 'problem' is it's Row 21 - goes up to 23 - and having been that far back meself in the past, it can call for binoculars. But she's defo struck lucky.
