  1. Could someone tell me how to post an image, thanks
  2. Masch, Lucas, Kuyt, strap yourselves in for yet another really thrilling game.
  3. The whole team's straightjacket is effecting Gerrard's game, he doesn't get the ball enough and when he does there's no support. I don't think it's lack of effort, it's just he can't get in the game and gets pissed off. 1. The defensive midfielders don't/can't release the ball quick enough to start attacks through the centre. 2. Our wide players are not natural wingers and simply too slow, they usually end up playing the ball back inside which then gets played back to a defender or back to the winger again and again and again. 3. Our centre backs and Insua have been hoofing the ball upfront not to feet, Torres can chase their balls, but Gerrard has at least 4 men in front of him. We're really in need of playing an attacking centre mid, it's killing us. But then again when Gerrard moved back for 10 mins against Arsenal and was spraying balls around, Kuyt couldn't control them.
  4. Collymore is a Wolves fan, when he moved to Villa he went on about being a boyhood Villa fan and has continued since. But I have a radio interview (with Chris Evans, radio 1) of him when he was at Liverpool saying he was a Wolves fan. I'd love to hear his response to it after years of pretending to be a life long Villa fan.
  5. Perhaps he's thinks we're going to lose anyway, so he's doing a Mick McArthy
  6. I completely agree with you; we should have killed the game off, however, they weren't in the game until he gave that free kick.
  7. I hate to blame refs but, he was crap today. We were on top up then he gave a free kick against Mach for winning the ball! Studs up my arse, OK give the free kick if he doesn't get all of the ball, but he got the whole thing! I heard Ian Darke say Chelsea's win over the Mancs was controversial because they didn't think the free kick leading to the goal was a foul, so is Arsenal's win controversial? He was shite all round though; Gerrard was wiped out by Gallas, could have been a penalty. So the ball was running away a little, but I bet the next time Rooney gets a touch before a sliding keeper takes him out as just as the ball is rebounding off an advertising board, Webb gives the penalty.
  8. If the mancs had won like that today we'd have heard the old faithful,"Sign of a good team, playing badly and winning" bollocks. Lets just enjoy the win today and ignore the reports; I'm made up.
  9. That is brilliant, I'm sending out some emails with that joke right now.
  10. Check out "The Game" podcast from the Times this week. 18 minutes in they discuss the press lying about Rafa's statements(eg, the one about Gerrard being at fault), but not having the balls to do it against Ferguson because "They need him", especially Patrick Barclay. We know it happens but I'm surprised they were so open about it as if it's no big deal.
  11. I heard so many people say we needed Xabi in a game like tonights where they were defending deep, he would have threaded a pass to someone. Then they said we lost the league last year because we couldn't break down teams like tonight. Xabi is a brilliant player, and we will miss him, but he was playing in those same games last year and we didn't win them.
  12. Or how about, "Yes, I used to play for Liverpool," he says. "But there has been a lot of change; there are not the same players or the same staff as there was. I left a long time ago. There is only really Gerrard and Carragher left." Yes Michael, but it's still the same club, history, stadium, and fans, I think this one hurts the most.
  13. This was in the Guardian today, he was talking looking at other teams before signing forms for us, He first met Ferguson more than 15 years ago. "I was quite nervous," he laughs. "You get different types of players, some come through early, others late, but I was one of the better kids hence I went round to quite a few clubs. I met Glenn Hoddle at Chelsea and George Graham at Arsenal. It was nerve wracking – even then Manchester United were a top, top team. "But I had been at Liverpool from an early age and been living away from home at Lilleshall [the FA Centre of Excellence]. Liverpool allowed me to travel and live at home. I didn't want to move away and Manchester was just that little bit further." Tosser
  14. I gave up watching his pathetic TV show after about 3 weeks, but switched on today just to see if he would make some sort of comment. He didn't turn up; they had a replacement for him. Neither of the two presenters gave a reason or even mentioned it either.
  15. Off The Post off the post GIF It: Sir Alex Ferguson loses his balloon (and his nose)
  16. Sorry if this has been posted before, I would say it's not really safe for work but well worth watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRsN2pftgvc
  17. Hi all, My friend from the US is visiting the city in February, I live over here in California and haven't been back to Liverpool since 2007. I know the city will have lots of new places to see because of last year being the City of Culture, does anyone have suggestions where he should visit? he has 2 days booked. Thanks for your time. Cheer on the boys for me. Rob
  18. Anyone else think of Kenny's goal on Sunday? http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/44275000/jpg/_44275318_torres_getty416.jpg http://cache.viewimages.com/xc/55321416.jpg?v=1&c=ViewImages&k=2&d=B3DC7839751147E9053833AAF4A72F53284831B75F48EF45 Can someone computer savvy put these two photos together on one post?
  19. Can you imagine listening to this idiot for 90 minutes every weekend like I have to? Honestly, I'd probably laugh at a 10 second soundbite but, when you hear him all the time he really drives you nuts. Gol TV shows La Liga and I have to watch it with the sound down.
  20. "I am not saying there were loads (of clubs) after me, but if you stay and play for a club that is fighting relegation then the confidence is not good".
  21. Messi is playing fantastic but needs to sort out that hair!
  22. Placed it lovely didnt he? looked dead pleased too
