  1. Decent start Nemeth missed a sitter. I like Plessis from the few games I've seen so far.
  2. Have to agree. Suppose it's a must win in terms of keeping ourselves comfortably in the top 4 but I can't imagine us winning the league when we still have to go to each of the other main clubs. When is the last time we won at Man U, Arse or Chelsea? It is about time we dicked on the Mancs at Anfield though so fingers crossed.
  3. This has been the comical game where everything that could go wrong goes wrong. We have one every season. Sadly it comes at a really bad time.
  4. Jordy Brouwer gets the "worked hard" assesment!
  5. Sickener tonight. Had Getafe v Tel Aviv scores 0-1, 0-2 and 0-3. 0-2 paid out £300 ish and 0-3 paid out £1800!!!!! 0-2 going into injury time fucking Getafe got a peno and scored. Not amused.
  6. You're all forgetting that Benitez is getting the sack this week and replaced by Mourinho. Edit. Actually you're not Hermes mentions it!!!
  7. What did the long banner at the front of the kop say?
  8. well done  tonight is tougher imo. not sure where to start.
  9. Done one serious one: 17:30 CSKA Moscow v PSV (Sky) - Asian Handicap (0) - CSKA Moscow (0) 19:45 Ipswich v Southampton - Match Odds - Ipswich 19:45 Man Utd v Sporting (ITV) - Asian Handicap (-1) - Man Utd (-1) 19:45 VfB Stuttgart v Rangers (Sky) - Match Odds - VfB Stuttgart odds 13/1 and one stupid one... 17:30 CSKA Moscow v PSV (Sky) - Asian Handicap (0) - CSKA Moscow (0) 19:45 Dynamo Kiev v Roma (Sky) - Asian Handicap (+1) - Dynamo Kiev (+1) 19:45 Inter Milan v Fenerbache (Sky) - Asian Handicap (-1) - Inter Milan (-1) 19:45 Lyon v Barcelona (RTE) - Asian Handicap (0) - Lyon (0) 19:45 Man Utd v Sporting (ITV) - Asian Handicap (-1) - Man Utd (-1) 19:45 Sevilla v Arsenal (ITV4) - Asian Handicap (0) - Sevilla (0) 19:45 Steaua Bucuresti v Slavia Prague (Sky) - Asian Handicap (0) - Steaua Bucuresti (0) 19:45 VfB Stuttgart v Rangers (Sky) - Asian Handicap (0) - VfB Stuttgart (0) odds 57/1
  10. Don't know if it's of any interest to you but there is an online site called betdaq. You can do asian handicap accumulators on there. For instance Man U are 2.2 to win by 2 with money back if they only win by 1 so they are basically taken out of the acca but you don't lose if they only win by 1 goal. I've been well more successful just doing a few teams i think will win comfortably rather than 5 or 6 teams to win straight.
  11. I've picked out Ipswich and Stuttgart for tonight so far. How Ipswich can be evens against a Southampton side that got a 5-0 humping of sheff wed last game is beyond me. Man City with a similar home record where 1.6 to beat Reading as a comparison.
  12. Can't help thinking if we had a real chief executive who can run a business the yanks would sit back and count their money and Rafa wouldn't have to go crying and piss them off to get things done.
  13. You can't be trying to tell me the NOTW is a credible newspaper surely? There may or may not be facts behind the article. There certainly isn't any evidence or quotation within it. Any information Bascombe may have has been presented in such a dramatised fashion I can't take it seriously.
  14. Yeah sorry man not having a go at your post. Just adding another scenario!
  15. Scenario 3. Editors have demanded a bullshit story to sell newspapers and as usual their shit rag journalists have obliged. Shit newspaper, talks bollocks, why is everyone going mental over it?
  16. No quotes in that article suggest Rafa is to be sacked. No evidence either. Don't care who he used to write for that is the normal Sunday paper bullshit.
  17. Is right. That team should murder them. Fernando back, Riise out. Happy days.
  18. You've just inspired me to have a Maradona youtube session. Nice one. I agree aswell no stand out team. Im struggling to find a weekness for Italy though so going for them.
  19. Something myself and a bunch of mates did for the world cup that made it much more exciting.... We now know all the teams involved so select your winner and start backing them for a certain amount each week. Whether it be £1, £5 keep placing the bets once a week until the tournament begins and you end up with a big bet on that hasn't hit you in the pocket. As I say did it for the world cup (selected spain) starting at around this time and by the time it started had a potential payout of 4k had Spain won it. Two mates picked up 2.5k on Italy. This time around Im going for Italy myself but the prices for the main contenders are below taken from Betfair!!! Germany 6.2 Italy 6.8 France 8.8 Spain 9.2 Holland 11 Portugal 12.5 Croatia 16.5 Czechs 17 Greece 28
  20. Yep. "World Class" midfielders would be in complete control of the game.
  21. Fans are a fucking disgrace they really are. Get behind your fucking team. Makes me even more proud of our fans there when the team need us.
  22. Personally, give me boring football and winning trophies anyday. Obviously attractive football and winning trophies being the holy grail.
  23. Yes we did play good football sometimes. Standout memory for me is putting 5 past Chelsea when Berger got a hat trick. However, as a whole era I would say we were disorganised and not built for winning trophies. We had some very bad players at times too. Just as with the Rafa era largely we have played defensive minded football and carved out results sometimes we have trashed teams.
