  1. You're legitimately allowed to open more than one Betfair account, you just need to register a different payment method (which you'd be doing anyway) and a different email address method with it.
  2. Was cynical when I first heard about bonus bagging/matched betting too though have been doing it for years and it is legit. That website really makes it look comically dodgy, using so many of the same crude marketing techniques scammers use. It isn't a scam (even if the service he provides can, in my opinion, be learnt in a fairly short amount of time on free forums) though I'd question the figures he mentions as bonus bagging on it's own is a game of diminishing returns, you can't project it as lifetime returns as once you've expired all the decent sign ups you're either reliant on intermittent reload offers, arbitrage bets (which guarantee profits even without the freebets but ultimately result in bookies closing or limiting your account) or opening accounts for friends etc which technically isn't allowed if they trace ip/computer links, though there are ways round it. The sign ups are generally quite a bit worse now than they were when I started in 2006 and the trend seems to be that the opening offers and reloads are increasingly being reduced in size and quantity as so many more people are aware of the technique. The maths of matched betting projects that over the longterm people who sign up either for just the opening freebet and don't place any further bets or only place bets on arbitrage bets will on the whole be unprofitable for the bookies which has resulted in a worsening of promos. All the information's available on various aspects of matched betting for free in various places online even on that uber tit Martin Lewis' moneysavingexpert website (MoneySavingExpert.com Forums - Board Agreement -) where you can find all the techniques and also daily updates of any riskfree promos. For the sceptical have a look on there and you can clearly see it is something you can make money from. There are a couple of decent spreadsheets on there (search for ultimatcher) which you can use to eventually to automatically calculate how to do even some of the more complex offers for yourself. There's also a questions thread on the top of that forum where any questions are answered pretty quickly. You can find a simple bet calculator on here (Matched Betting Calculator*::Matched Betting). Can seem complicated at first but the once you've got your head round the backing/laying process for extracting the guaranteed money out of the freebies is actually incredibly simple even for those who don't know about maths or betting. If you put time into understanding exactly how it works for yourself and some of the more complex ways to either guarantee money outside of the initial signups or using similar principles so at least the odds are in your favour (which is rather queerly called advantage play) then it's actually possible to make decent money long term. It takes a bit of time and generally at least some interest in betting and/or maths/stats which most people understandably don't have. Long term though once you've got your head around it you don't even need to spend very much time doing it all and the other positive is it reduces the chances of wasting money on mug bets like multiples as you can see quite how heavily the odds are in the bookies favour. Personally wouldn't pay someone to do it as there are even free websites which find the bets for you (like oddsmonkey.com). I can see that for those with little time to spare or little inclination to continue beyond doing the initial freebies that it makes some sense getting someone to calculate it all for you. I'd be slightly wary if he's sending out bets to place on fairly obscure leagues though as there's a fair chance your account will be flagged up and limited. To keep your account long term you need to fly under the radar as much as possible so always better to stick to the high profile events/leagues. Not sure if he mentions this but you can also increase how much money you make from each account by signing up via cashback websites like topcashback (an extra £20 on top of the freebet for opening ladbrokes and willhills accounts though offer lots others too).
  3. Good work, nice one for putting so much time into that. Got a couple of suggestions though. Firstly, do you think you could change the text from Spirit of Shankley to Spirit of Shankly? Also, whilst there's a whole load of good material in there (the Shankly stuff, Istanbul etc.) as an exercise to demonstrate to the uneducated quite what cunts the owners are it might be worthwhile making a shortened edited version, say 10-12 minutes, purely highlighting what liars and chancers they are. I think that way it'd be more hardhitting and more likely to go viral. Whilst I was happy to watch the full 47 minutes, I imagine it might put some off and the majority of those willing to put that kind of time into it are possibly those who already want rid of them. Anyway, it's just an idea and don't wish to sound too critical as the more of this stuff that gets out there the better.
  4. Agree with that but it's a bit of a misleading article as it's definitely not an exclusive. Debra Martin came out in the early nineties to say that Kevin Williams died in her arms at 3:45. Her statement has always been the foundation of Anne Williams' case against the police. Am pleased for the added publicity but strange of the Mirror to frame the article like that as it certainly isn't new information.

    Gareth Barry

Gotta disagree with that. He'd almost certainly cost more than Barry given his contract situation and we don't need another striker who can't pass, has poor awareness and scores about 1 in every 3 or 4 decent chances. Had enough of them over the last few years, he's got nothing other than pace. That said I was watching the game today on a Chinese stream and the incredible noise the commentators made when attempting to pronounce his name would almost make it worthwhile if I could organise to receive Chinese commentary whenever he was playing.
  6. Isn't necessarily as simple as that though. I was annoyed by Villa's change of approach too but the chances are that they were pretty shattered which encouraged them to defend so deep. They'd played fucking well for the first 65 minutes winning virtually all the 50/50s and second balls which would definitely have taken it out of them. At 2-1 I actually thought they were even more comfortable than we were while at the same score at Old Trafford. If Agbonlahor wasn't so shite with composure remaniscent of thalidomide tea lady on ice they could easily have stretched their lead. Once the Mancs equalised, villa were always going to shit it and the manc attack that lead to their winner came when Villa had arguably committed too many players forward for a counter attack. Unbelievably annoying today but unless the Mancs improve drastically (which with the players to come back is admitedly likely) they'll drop more points.
  7. Ridiculously biased interpretation of an article to suit your agenda. I definitely don't think the media hate us, I'm not very happy with Rafa at the minute, and I sometimes struggle with Tomkins' articles, particularly when he uses spurious statistics to prove a tenuous point. However, in this article he makes some interesting points. His stats about how much worse the Mancs fare without Ronaldo and Rooney compared to us without Torres and Gerrard does a fucking good job of dispelling the oft spouted accepted knowledge that we're too reliant on our 2 best players compared to the Mancs. To anyone who wants to read it here's the link TOMKINS: END THIS TORRES/GERRARD MYTH
  8. Have to presume you've either got a total blackout between 02-04 (which is largely understandable) or you only started watching since Abel Xavier left the club then. He was poor on Saturday and hasn't been too good since the first half of last season but what you're saying is absurd. I actually agree that Finnan's probably the better full back (certainly was), and the talk of his his demise is a bit irritating as it seems based less on fact and more on a commonly accepted knowledge following only a couple of substandard performances last year. He might be passed it, I doubt it but I don't know as he barely played in the second half of last season (actually thought he was one of our better players against Birmingham) but this massively doing down one player to support another one is getting as predictable as it is annoying. The first half of last season Arbeloa was really good and strangely, a bit like Carra, he seems to play better as a left back then as a right back. It's still really early doors this season, players are still finding their fitness and the whole team's still finding it's form so lets hold back from the categoric judgments just yet.
  9. You've accused the people who disagree with you of not thinking for themselves and yet you're the person on here who most frequently gets confused between the difference of what's opinion and what's fact. This suggests a brain staggeringly devoid of any critical thinking faculties and in turn the ability to actually think for yourself. Ignoring the fact that your two sentences are contradictory, is the above assertion actually based on anything other than the fact that Xabi and Pako were friends and Xabi mentioned he was missed? For the record, I'd much rather we kept Alonso than bought in Barry but I'm not claiming to know the exact reasons for Rafa wanting to get rid of him. It could be personal, it could be anything but clearly there is an argument that on domestic form over the last couple of years, Barry would be a good addition. Be good to hear how you know that it's not based on football.
  10. David Pleat does actually moonlight as a translator for pretty much every language. Universities also use recorded examples of his fine pronunciations, particularly of African and Middle Eastern names, as the perfect model for students to aspire to. His numerous variations of the pronunciation of Sissoko for example (even within the same sentence) are particularly helpful in encouraging downsy students to at least pipe up and have a go. The most important thing being they at least get the vague sound of the word/name correct. Also, before delighting the masses by signing up to the BNP, Ron Atkinson’s flourishing career as a surreal comedian reached it’s peak in 2003 when he declared that Liverpool would win the league by using Kewell’s far post heading ability which would be frequently picked out by Heskey’s pinpoint crossing.
  11. what a bitter cunt Barry Horne is.
  12. ronny johnson and tomasson are the last 2
  13. There’s actually something I find massively reassuring about someone as nonsensical and disconcertingly deluded as Red Nick thinking that one of the most respected, entertaining and perspicacious Liverpool writers over the last 20 years is a twat. That they’re even being mentioned in the same post is just about the perfect example of stepping from the sublime to the ridiculous you could get.
  14. Embrace Vladi's chedder. It's better that way.
  15. Over the period of 6 years that Smicer was at the club he didn't consistently do it enough for us for varying reasons but to suggest that he wasn't creative in the treble season is frankly absurd. You only need to look over the treble season review to see how many goals he's involved in. He had the highest number of assists in the squad and the majority of our best performances that season (certainly in terms of attractiveness) came when he was in the team. He was bettered (by one) only by Beckham and Solano in league assists and they, unlike Smicer, were both regular starters and corner takers. In all competitions he got more assists than Beckham, again despite playing less games. Assist2000/01 Obviously, whether he was any good or not is subjective - it sometimes seems like you struggle with the notion that things aren’t just black or white (one of the main causes of the abuse you receive). The facts are that he was creative in 2000/01, very creative, so don’t rewrite history to suit your agenda. Despite his limitations and the frustrations I had with him, under Houllier he at least represented a player who wanted to play football the right way and as I mentioned, the rare pass and move performances always seemed to be when he was on the pitch. Had he been at a club like Arsenal I’m sure he’d be perceived very very differently right now, you might scoff that he was never good enough for them but equally had we signed Ljungberg in 98 (which GH has said he intended) I wonder whether he’d be thought of as such a good player now? It seems unlikely GH would ever have utilised him correctly; Vladi surrounded by the right types of player, in the correct formation and under the tutelage of Wenger would surely have done much much better. For Istanbul I fuckin love the bloke, I’ve never gone so mental for a goal at a game or anywhere for any reason for that matter. In the unlikely event that he wanted to mature a blend of his cock cheese I’d be honoured if he wanted to whip it out and use my shoulder.
