Be interesting to see what happens with Branthwaite. No way are Everton getting £80m for him, especially when everyone knows how desperate they are to get money in by the end of June to pass PSR. United are the only ones stupid enough to pay them anywhere near what they're asking. If nothing has been done by late June I'd be chucking in a £45m bid as they aren't in a position to say no.

I thought the same about people preferring the shorter pods and to start with we were really conscious of trying to keep it to an hour or so, but someone on here who knows about all this stuff (pods, youtube, socials etc) told me that longer pods are much more popular with listeners. And he was right. The longer pods get way more downloads than shorter ones and rather than be put off when they see two hours (or more) people react the opposite way.

Oh it is funny, no question. All of those things you mentioned are things I've said about him repeatedly over the years, but my disdain for him has definitely faded somewhat over recent years. Doesn't mean I've changed my mind about any of it, it's all true, I'm not disputing any of what you said. I'm just far less bothered about it than I was.

Not a chance in hell we'd spend that kind of money on Kudus. We won't go for someone like Olise either. The nerds will have a list as long as your arm of players who compare to them data wise but will cost a third of the price. I expect that we'll be shopping in that £30-40m bracket that has served us so well. So someone like that Summerville, plus maybe one of the centre backs we've been linked with. The Frankfurt lad maybe? Spending massive on someone like Kudus is Man United behaviour.

As for Kane, he's a fucking incredible player. One of the best centre forwards I've ever seen, especially considering he doesn't rely on pace at all. Bayern's failings this year are on Tuchel, not him. That said, the Spurs stink is strong with that one.

Yeah he was a phenomenal player for us, massively under-rated I think. Brilliant to watch and often carried the team on his back, including winning us two cup finals. His finishing was dreadful though, which was the only real flaw he had and the reason he doesn't get much of a mention in best ever elevens. If he could finish he'd walk into any best ever LFC side. He's also damaged by playing in an under achieving side and because he left on a Bosman (personally I have zero problem with him for that). He's popular in Madrid, which says a lot for his quality as they don't tend to take to players very easily.

I haven't watched any of it so not sure what happened, but what's the problem here, both lads in the middle look offside? Was it not?
