Got the house to myself tonight as she's taken herself off for a haircut, I have egg and chips on the go (plenty of ketchup and bread at the ready), Dylan tunes playin gout and I plan to play some Walking Dead, read a bit and then stay up watching horror films until the early hours. Bliss. What do you get up to when the other half is away?

Now, don't get me wrong here. I'm no metal head and I laughed my nuts off at Slipknot at Leeds 2000 as they pranced around in their daft masks, screaming at all the kids to "get down on your fucking knees". However, since relocating Lurtz Towers I've been spending a lot of time in my new kitchen sipping wine, cooking ace stuff and listening to Kerrang Radio. This let me to a moment of clarity - that I've always liked Duality by Slipknot. A belting, gritty, gutsy noise of a tune. So curiosity got the better of me and I went and got myself a copy of Vol.3 The Subliminal Verses. Bugger me, what an album that is. Absolutely superb. It's not just a racket. It had me hooked from the first track. There are one or two sublimely beautiful tracks on there, spliced together with some other fantastically gutsy shouting bassy fuck-off-fests. I would seriously recommend anyone who's got an interest in music (Radio 1 listeners and X-Factor watchers need not apply) to give it a blast and keep an open mind. And if anyone's got any recommendations of stuff along similar lines I'd be grateful. I'll never be a full time metal head but I've always been a fan of Maiden, AC/DC etc and I'm seriously surprised at just well good this album matches up to good rock music. \m/

With the olympics on top of us every magazine - apart from the top shelf -seems to have this minx on the front cover. Now I normally have a rule that I don't shag birds that are much better at something than me - just to save any embarassment, - and in her case I can think of at least seven things. But I really think I might make an exception in this case. From reading this forum I'm aware that at this point i should attach several pics of her looking fit as fuck for proof, and exclaim that I would smash her doors in. But in Jess's case her kipper isn't up to much but her bodywork is mint, so I'm struggling for really worthy pics (and the ability to attach them?!) Can someone help with the proof? But I think the post it really just because I can't help thinking that she is just absolutely fucking dirty as fuck. I would appreciate your thoughts.

what are people's thoughts on this? I think fair play to them to be honest. Young lads doing something they are passionate about. They do chat some utter shite sometimes and do tend to follow the general feeling as opposed to there own opinions a lot but it's better than fuckin eastenders !

Just been slapped with a £30 fixed penalty (code 214 whatever the fuck that is) for parking in the same place I do every day outside work along with countless other drivers. I was parked half on the road half on the verge, like I do every day and as do dozens of other drivers. How can I appeal against this? Is there a reasonable chance I can successfully appeal against the bastards?

Does anyone know what that website was called in which people could post their amusing stories about their teachers and pupils. It was sorted by A-Z and it was exactly the place where Tom R's "phantom shitter" story would have gone. It was ace, but I've totally forgotten what it was called.
