  1. I reckon the GF needs an anthem. The anthem will serve many purposes - 1. To be played at the finals of the GF Championship/Chess Championship/etc 2. To be played as a rousing tune to inspire posters before a battle with the FF or another forum. 3. To be played whenever a long, pointless argument breaks out as to remind everyone that we are actually all big soppy cunts who love each other and have better things to do than heatedly 'discuss' random shite. 4. A few more purposes that I'll think up later. So post some suggestions and then the ones that are most widely agreed on can go into a poll that me or someone else can make at some point in the future. And in the spirit of what the anthem will stand for, lets not have this thread turn into a petty musical spat. In fact, if one person breaks into a discussion about Chris Martin's personal life they will receive a daily negging from me for as long as I can be arsed.
  2. http://http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=knQtFjHxJag&feature=PlayList&p=B6AF88E1077FA8B2&index=5 Best ever tv closing sequence ? How do i embedd the link thingy ?
  3. Was thinking of getting a new graphics as the current one is having trouble keeping up with these bloody big games. Don't wanna spend much (less than £100). Was thinking about a GeForce 8600GT?
  4. Ok, so I've not seen as much football as many others on here would have and also is the fact that I've obviously seen far more of Pepe in goal than other keepers, but one thing that I can't help but notice is that Reina seems to actually have a lot more purpose in his kicking, for example when he rushes off his line and catches a ball then straight away starts looking downfield before launching one of those sidekicks often for Nando to run onto. Seeing Jens Lehmann move like a fucking dinosaur and then lob this skyball barely to the halfway line made me realise that Pepe almost never does that in the same situation. Sitting in the Kop for the Man City game gave me my first goal-to-goal view of a game and if anything, it made me even clearer in my view that Reina is one of, if not the best at this. Joe Hart at the other end, despite having an otherwise excellent game that day, sent a few balls out of play even from goal-kicks. Now is it just that I haven't seen enough quality keepers before or is it a valid point? People always talk about keepers being good 'shot-stoppers' or shite because they 'flap' at crosses, but I find this aspect is under-rated and rarely mentioned, though it can be an extra weapon for a keeper who knows what he is doing. I'm interested in your replies.
