  1. They see what they want to see, not the reality, dont they. Clearly doesnt touch Bobby's hand and it was nearer the defender's hand.
  2. I dont think we are poor at all. We've totally bossed the game and made west ham run a lot. We've played the direct ball over the top a little too much and if Divock could have got his toe to that cross, it would be 2 now. Hopefully west ham will tire in the 2nd half and we can make it pay. Just need to make sure we arent sloppy with the ball.
  3. Might I suggest we give Fabianski's hip a bit of a work out tonight?
  4. Yep, FA's blocked it because BBC and BT Sport already showing a replay each. Never mind about viewer choice and more money to Shrewsbury though. The faux fume has already started.
  5. Massive game featuring the manc EFL cup semi final. Plus its a re arranged game that wasnt scheduled for tv in the first place.
  6. In his first year, Sadio often made the wrong decision and I said I didnt think he realised just how could a player he could become if he managed to knock this out of his game and be more consistent. In no way am I claiming credit for it because obviously, the coaches and Jurgen have coached and spoken to him. I honestly think more often than not, Sadio is the match winner for us even if he doesnt actually score the winning goal. The lad is lightning quick and I love the way he jinks, drops a shoulder and leaves the oppo for dead. It pisses me off no end when refs allow the oppos to upend him and not give a free kick. I think him not playing tonight and probably Saturday will have an impact on us. Hopefully it wont stop us getting maximum points before we have this laughable break.
  7. Haha. I know what you mean but fuck no, they'd sack the gimp if they get hammered! I hope it is a testing game for city and 'ole' stays at the wheel for years to come. By the way, what does this 'at the wheel' fucking shite mean anyway?!
  8. Bookings only count for the competition they are given in and not across the PL, FAC EFLC. Not sure what count is needed to miss the EFL final. Fuck me, 8 minutes added time at Wigan, 9 minutes at Hull. That ferguson has a lot to answer for.
  9. Accrington losing 2-0 at home. Karma's a bitch, eh?
  10. My thoughts exactly. Unless Villa's name is on this cup like Wigan's was once so always some hope!
  11. Anyone know what the craic is here, Gini being a bit coy? Liverpool star Gini Wijnaldum has been discussing his future at the club as well as revealing his support for Jurgen Klopp's FA Cup stance. The Dutch international, who has featured 22 times in the Premier League this term, has said he's not in any rush to sign a contract extension. With Liverpool focused on winning a first title in 30 years, Wijnaldum told Sky Sports: "I'm just focusing on bringing this season to a good end and that's the only thing I'm thinking of. "What would I like? It is difficult to say. It depends on what the club wants and how the situation is at that time. We will see." Asked if it would be difficult to leave the club where he has spent the last three-and-a-half seasons, he said: "Yes, it's like home." Following Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup fourth-round on Sunday, Klopp confirmed he will not be taking charge of the Reds for the upcoming replay. Liverpool's first-team will be on a winter break, and Wijnaldum has admitted he supports the German's decision to rest his senior stars. The Netherlands midfielder said: "Since I've been in the Premier League I've played the season without a winter break but I also know, before I came to the Premier League, how good it is for a player to have some rest. "After the rest you can go again. Your body is more rested than if you keep on going, so that's a good thing. "As a player you want to be involved in every game there is but you also have to deal with your body and sometimes your body just says that it is not the right choice to do. "You just have to see how the situation is but if the manager decides that the younger players are going to play the game then we should accept it." https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/gini-wijnaldum-opens-up-liverpool-17641913
  12. Im always wary of visits to west ham. they are one of those teams who are shit most of the time but pull their tripe out when they play the likes of us. I remember that twat Noble saying after last season draw that we were 'scared' of them. The reality is, we were fucked with all the games we'd played. But, he encapsulated west ham to a tee, shit against the other teams but, prepared to put in a lung bursting performance against us (and other 'top' teams to be fair). Despite their abysmal performances of late, Im a bit apprehensive of playing them away first. Id much have preferred to have them at Anfield, give them a good pasting then play them against in a fortnight at their gaff while the result is fresh in their minds. I still think we'll sneak a win, pretty much like against wolves, I just expect west ham to be more ale house in their game plan.
  13. I see the gimp has said Sanchez will return to the club for next season and he, solskjaer, will prove everyone else wrong about him. Was he wearing his best shiny rubber suit when he said that?
  14. I think its because we've got Atletico on the 18th and west ham at home on 24th Feb.
  15. He did try and win the game! Did you see how bobbly that pitch was? The fact is we could have put out the first team and still have ended up with a 2-2 draw. Shit happens in the cup.
  16. Yeah. They'd rather we charge full price for a game when it's been declared a U23 side will play so they can complain we're ripping Shrewsbury fans off. Oh wait....
  17. Totally agree. The FA Cup only becomes a priority the further you go in it and reference to how good \ bad you're doing in whatever league you're in or, if you're a club that 'just needs to win any trophy' to end a drought.
  18. Some people wont be satisfied until the first team players all run out of gas in the 70th minute of a league game and get caught by some shite reffing decision or once in a million worldie strike that costs us 3 points, home or away. Then it's all 'why the fuck did Jurgen play everyone against shrewsbury?' If only football was so predictable, Id have won the pools every week.
  19. Olympic gold medalist for GB women's hockey team according to Google!
  20. I bet the mancs would love to be in our position despite the bullshit they are throwing at Jurgen.
