  1. The only 'sympathy' I have for city is and Ive been saying it for years, is that the FA and PL should have taken action when abramovic bought chelsea and started chucking his money about. Not only did that cause hyper inflation in the English game that affected clubs even down in League Two (or whatever it was called back then) but resulted in that club buying up players to stop potential opponents buying them. City havent done the latter to any great degree but they certainly contributed to another round of hyper inflation in football finances. Similarly, how the fuck PSG have managed to escape leaves me bemused. But again, I suspect city have been hoisted on their own petard by the 'leaked' emails which confirms their wrong doing. No such evidence is available regarding PSG as far as Im aware. Again, Real Madrid enjoy virtual state sponsorship with dodgey deals yet have managed to escape censure.
  2. Knowing and proving are different things. I wouldnt hold on anyone, not even city being banged to rights on 'knowing' they were financially doping. Once you have substantive evidence considered by a proper due process that proves they have been, that's totally right and proper they are then banged to rights.
  3. So you let ben johnson, lance armstrong and a host of other drug cheats deny clean athletes and teams their just reward of being 'gold medalist' or champions? Nah, it's easy for us sitting on the side and say dont give the runners up those titles when they've sweated blood and made sacrifices in their lives to try and achive those goals only to see them robbed by cheats.
  4. How does a medium sized club break into the European elite? They cannot. Until they have 10 or 20 years track record of playing and winning elite European competition. That's the point of being elite, isnt it? You've a history of winning elite competitions and not just getting lucky in a once in a life time lottery. If a club just rocks up and spunks huge, and I mean huge, amounts of money, that doesnt make them elite and never will. In my humble opinion.
  5. That's a good article. Unlike the one from martin samuel who continues his rant that city's owners should be able to spend what they want on the club because, it 'encourages' other potential club owners to pump money into smaller clubs and achieve the success city have. But Samuel ignores the fact only city have got lucky. I dont see a plethora of smaller clubs waited to be bought by mega rich owners and pump obscene amounts of money into them. neither does it recognise like abramovic did it with chelsea and mansour with city, it just results in hyper inflation of the game's finances. Transfer fees go up and wages go up. Many more clubs struggle to compete. Tits like samuel then wonder why clubs like bury go out of business and there are no reputable business men stepping forward to try and save them. What's the point if the next club is owned by a country, entity or mega rich owner who could just blow you away at every turn? You'd think tits like samuel would want a level playing field where every club could compete. Blackpool got in the PL on a shoestring a few years back. Huddersfield did the same. Sure, they'd have needed more money to compete at the top of the PL but that should come via evolution not instant lottery win.
  6. Totally disagree mate, it's not a technicality. It's cheating. Just have to disagree!
  7. Ourselvesand Real got in one year despite finishing 5th but holders. Not sure about Milan. They did ask not to play in Europe this season because they were in breach of FFP I think.
  8. No. That's like saying the great train robbers or the brinks matt robbers etc get to keep their stolen booty. Like I said before, no, no, fucking, no. The teams who would have won the titles and cups without cheating should be awarded them. Cheaters should never benefit else we may as well pack up and fuck off home. You cannot tell our players from 2014, sorry lads, that season didnt count and all that effort you put in is just fucked off.
  9. Yeah because all of the top players in the world want to come to England and win the Premier League without having the chance to play in the Champions League. I dont think the eejits thunked that one through.
  10. Wow, seeing some pretty despicable comments from city fans directed at Liverpool. Apparently we smashed up city's bus twice last year on route to the CL final! But the clincher was we only got 3 years more for 'killing' 39 fans so that proves how bent UEFA are. They truely are scum.
  11. Dortmund battering Frankfurt 3-0 now. Haaland on the scoresheet along with Sancho and Piszczek.
  12. My thoughts too. I hope their shitting their pants. This could be a watershed moment in football.
  13. CAS dismissed city's 'appeal' to get the case thrown out. CAS supported UEFA's disciplinary committee hearing the case for breach of FFP and dismissed city's claim that UEFA had briefed or leaked details of it to the media.
  14. Sorry mate I disagree. This is like Ben Johnson winning gold at the Olympics while doped, him being banned and saying the silver, bronze and 4th placed athlete who missed out should retain their positions and not move up the medal table. It's like Sharon Davies losing the swimming gold medal at the Olympics to a doped East German swimmer. It's like Lance Armstrong winning 7 Le Tours when doped and successfully masking it from the authorities and the rest of the competitors who should rightly have won those titles. Those cheats all won titles and stopped other 'clean' competitors from rightfully winning and taking the top honour. If the PL were to uphold UEFA's decision and strip city of their titles, then, every Premier League club who finished second to them in the relevant years should be awarded the title. And that includes even if it is manchester united. Cheats should never, ever prosper in sport and neither should 'clean' competitors miss out or be blocked from an honour when the cheats are brought to book.
  15. Hahaha! Just seen this marvellous news! Rescind their titles, now. Please!
  16. They dont. The Football League gave us the original and they had another similar one made with The Championship engraved on it.
  17. They should be fucking disbanded and made to start again in the 10th tier of English football. Play by the rules or fuck off. Cunts like martin samuel actually condone these 'throw all the money you want' owners at a football club, it enables other smaller clubs to reach the heights city have quickly. Yeah right, never mind sporting integrity through evolution rather than revolution. How many nations dripping rich in a natural resource are going to invest in say, a Plymouth, a Doncaster Rovers or Gateshead and turn them into the next manchester city? Id argue not a fucking one so the dream is never going to be within reach. Instead, you'll get clubs pushed out of existence because they've had to pay inflated transfer fees or increased wages because the 'throw all the money you want' owners at these clubs have hyper inflated the finances of the game at every level.
  18. Haha, I love seeing media cunts have their arses handed to them on a plate. So after that shit piece by brennan, let's hope custis is the next recipient of the award.
  19. Haha, them twats are going to try and live off that fact so far, he's the only manager in the PL to get a draw against us, for as long as he's manager there. It shows how massively they have fallen that the have to hold up a home draw as some sort of trophy.
  20. No doubt the irony zooms over his head but he's just another who thinks 30 years means no trophies. Mind you, seeing as some of them think we didnt win a major trophy until the FA Cup in 1965 and, that they'd won the Football League a couple of times before us, you tend to know why. Just where have their 'legions' of fans come from in the last 9 years? They were in the fucking 3rd tier of English football and in 2002, playing in front of 30,000 fans at a derelict Maine Road. Id bet a good 70% of their fans dont know about Maine Road and had only heard of manchester because of united. I think Ive stood on the kippax more times than some of those beauts.
  21. OK, I'll rephrase it, yes, you could have more fans in a rail seated area. I very much doubt if they are allowed in the PL, that the ratio will be higher than 1 standing fan per rail seat installed. Lower league English grounds are not covered by the all seater requirement. That's currently limited to PL ground. Not sure about The Championship but think they are the same. At Celtic when they installed 2975 rail seats, these were a 1 to 1 replacement for the existing seats. Celtic offer season ticket holders in that area who didnt wish to stand to re locate to another partof the ground, 470 fans re located and were replaced by the same number of fans who did want to stand. Celtic do not allow more than the 2975 fans into that area, the capacity has stayed the same and not increased. So yes, while space and other countries may allow more than 1 fan per rail seat, Im pretty sure regulations in the PL will adhere to 1 fan per rail seat and lead to no increase in capacities. See page 4 of the following PDF. https://www.fercoseating.com/assets/fsfcasestudycelticsafestandingrailseat.pdf
  22. I stopped reading when I got to stuart brennan. The man's as obsessed about us as gaurdiola is and, he's every bit as bitter about Liverpool as that fat cunt, neil custis.
