  1. Was not happy at being subbed either. Obviously he did not know the camera was on him but you could see him go me no what the fuck. I do not have a problem with him being unhappy at being hooked and if I was him I would have been pissed off getting hooked while Mane was putting in a shit show and staying on.
  2. Yeah strange the Sunday Manc is running this Butland story hours after we lost to that lot. Goading scousers nah.
  3. It is strange that when we were wanting to develop the Kemlyn and the two sisters did not want to move out how Everton fans conveniently ignored their clubs previous. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/evertons-famous-gwladys-street-end-14350021
  4. Daily or Sunday Manc story. That is all.
  5. Does being wrong all the time come naturally to you or do you have years of practice.
  6. Real Madrid 2-0 v Dortmund in the CL semi final 2nd leg in April 2013. Dortmund had won the first leg 4-1.
  7. This has got to be a first subbing a player because a tv pundit might influence the ref. Jose Mourinho claimed that he substituted goalscorer Marcus Rashford in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Liverpool because he was concerned Gary Neville’s half-time verdict that the striker should have been dismissed would influence referee Craig Pawson. The United manager was responding to questions about the crowd booing his decision to replace Rashford with Marouane Fellaini, with the 20 year-old having scored two first-half goals. Mourinho said that he had been told about Neville’s half-time analysis on Sky Sports in which he said that the striker, booked for a foul on James Milner, was in danger of being dismissed. Mourinho said: “To react against me and my decisions, that is not a problem for me. At half-time someone told me Gary Neville was asking for Marcus Rashford to get a red card. And I was scared as I thought maybe the referee was watching at half-time and was influenced by Gary. So when we were more defensive, as Liverpool in the second half pushed us [i made the change]. “When Liverpool brought a lot of players to the centre of the pitch and brought Ashley Young inside, Marcus Rashford was defending the corner against [Trent] Alexander-Arnold. With the yellow card and the pressure for Gary asking for a red card, I made the decision to play a player that could make a foul on Alexander [without being dismissed].” The referee is not permitted to watch the half-time coverage and Mourinho did not appear to be entirely serious. He also criticised the home fans for groaning in the 57th minute when midfielder Scott McTominay passed the ball back into his own half with United going forward, a decision which prompted applause from his manager. Scott McTominay was booed for a backpass Credit: ACTION IMAGES Mourinho said: “The fans can do what they want. I am not upset at all with that reaction. I am upset with the reaction they had with Scott McTominay, that kid who is 20 year's old was making all the right decisions and they wanted him to make the wrong decisions. “So when the kid decides to break the intensity of the ball, did not lose the ball, kept possession, plays a pass back and comes up with a solution to keep the ball in the opponents’ half - it was a wonderful solution that many top, top players with experience don’t do. But he did it and the fans reacted against the kid. That for me was the bad one.” Mourinho said that his side had spotted the weakness in Dejan Lovren that enabled Romelu Lukaku to dominate the Liverpool centre-back and create the two goals for Rashford. He said: “We gave options to the players. We have different options. I am not a kind of mechanic coach that says, ‘A pass to B, B pass to C, C pass to D’. I am much more supportive of preparing players well and to feel the game. “We had different options. We also had the possibility of the long ball to McTominay and bringing [Andy] Robertson wide for the long ball in the air. Lukaku was confident by his experience that he could be dominant in relation to Lovren and it worked.” Jurgen Klopp said that his team had been guilty of giving Lukaku too much room for manoeuvre. “In the situations around the two goals, it was not like it should be,” he said. “You cannot leave a player like Lukaku alone. We trained for that, of course. They scored twice. One team gets a big boost, and the other a big blow. We came back minute by minute in the game. We put them under pressure and had good moments in the box.” Klopp was unhappy that Sadio Mane was not awarded a second-half penalty for a challenge from Fellaini. He said that it was not the case that Liverpool’s attacking, possession-heavy approach had cost them. “It was not that United’s style won or our style lost. It was the same issue around second balls. You have to do what you have to do. Our mistake was not to do that. It was nothing to do with the system.” https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/03/10/jose-mourinho-brought-marcus-rashford-scared-referee-would-influenced/?li_source=LI&li_medium=li-recommendation-widget
  8. One game below the incredibly high standard he has set himself in the 30 league games he has played to date not to mention the CL games. If all the other players in the squad had that ratio we would be a lot closer to City. OK he might have missed the odd game in the league but you get my drift.
  9. Or like ones he gets to but completely hashes and it goes in. Like the one against City in the League Cup Final or the Xhaka one for Arsenal and his poor technique for getting behind the ball and over the bar.
  10. Klopp said we were not there for the second ball. If TAA is the player nearest then it is on him. If it was van Dyke or any other player Klopp would have made the same point. Just like he did earlier in the season when we were losing goals on the second ball. Unfortunately TAA had a mare for the first 20 or so minutes of the game.
  11. I think this stuff linking us with Butland is coming from him and his agent. At least I hope so. And 40 mill no way.
  12. Fans going to that game would not have to buy a half and half scarf seeing as both club colours are the same.
  13. Liverpool broke their club record transfer fee when they paid Southampton £75m for Dutch centre-back Van Dijk in the last window The Dutch defender could be joined by more big signings this summer Getty Images Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp claims the signing of Virgil van Dijk was not a one-off and the club are prepared to pay big transfer fees again in the future. The Reds broke their club record transfer fee when they paid Southampton £75m for Dutch centre-back Van Dijk in the last window. Van Dijk has been an instant success with assured and authoritative displays in what had previously been a troublesome position for Klopp. Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group have largely been financially prudent in their approach to transfers. However, Klopp indicated should the right personnel be identified then Liverpool will not hesitate to splash the cash in the future. “If the player is the right player this club will pay big money,” he said. “When the player is the right player it is not important how expensive he was. He needs to fit in the team, that’s why we paid the price (for Van Dijk). “You can’t say you want a player, they give you a number and you say, ‘Right we will pay that’. That’s not how it should work. “Probably a few teams have players and other clubs want to buy them so think it can happen like that but we all need to stay kind of serious. “Even if some of us will not be serious in other countries to solve their problems with the next big signing, then the next big signing!” Klopp believes the recruitment process needs to be a gradual one to ensure players become properly integrated. “It still needs to be the mix of bringing in the new player and letting the group grow. That’s how it is,” he added. “If you always change four or five positions it’s wrong. You don’t make the team better. You can make it better in the long term but in the long term nobody is waiting for it. “It’s all about timing, doing the right thing at the right moment. If it’s not the right player, it’s not the value of the player.” http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/liverpool-transfers-latest-updates-virgil-van-dijk-jurgen-klopp-promises-more-signings-a8248606.html
  14. Haha bizarre. Ramos had to go off the pitch for a 5 minute shit during the game today. Think suarez had to do the same in an international. You would think they would have a crap before the game or at half time. Zinedine Zidane reveals Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos 'sh*t himself a bit' during victory over EibarREPORT: Cristiano Ronaldo's two goals secured a narrow 2-1 win over Eibar Sergio Ramos left the pitch for five minutes midway through the second half After the game, manager Zinedine Zidane revealed he needed to go to the toilet Zidane said: 'He sh*t himself a bit. He had to go the toilet, and then come back' The Real Madrid boss Saturday's hero Ronaldo is 'from another galaxy' Zinedine Zidane described Cristiano Ronaldo as 'from another galaxy' and then admitted Sergo Ramos had needed a bathroom break in the second half of Real Madrid's 2-1 win over Eibar. Ramos went off on minute 73 before Ronaldo had scored his second goal to give Real Madrid all three points in a 2-1 win. He re-emerged a full five minutes later and Real Madrid coach Zidane was asked to explain the defender's strange absence. 15. Good grief. Just got up to speed with that West Ham trouble. I did not bother with the afternoon games after our shitfest. It is sad for the decent West Ham fans but the club and fans have to be punished for those disgraceful incidents.
  16. Jurgen was clearly pissed off with the result and a couple of questions from some journos trying to get him to conceed second place and criticism by some pundits of the defence. I am pretty sure Jurgen knows what position some ex players played.
