I agree totally with that - and I did want him to get another year actually, simply because it was Kenny and he did deserve it because of what he had done. Although I genuinely didn't expect anything to come from it! Personally I think a lot of the criticism of FSG is valid, and I don't want to argue because I can see where it is coming from. Just because I am optimistic doesn't mean everybody else should be. As I said early, I'm sure yourself, TK and all the others would be delighted to be proved wrong!

This is the bit about perception though! I see a team that was in a perfect position to challenge for the top 4 at christmas and the reason we were out of it, was because we were shite! The FA cup final, Kenny decided to start with Spearing, and Henderson on the right! He had Caroll on the bench! But one question - I know it is Kenny, so the rules are different, but 'if' Caroll had of scored, is not different to 'if' Gerrard had not slipped!

As I say, they could do better! I'm torn over Kenny - it was easily some of the worst football I had seen since Houliers last year, he looked lost. And Rodgers did improve the team, without that initial outlay that Kenny enjoyed. Levy balances the books - and I don't think anyone would argue against Spurs at the moment. being prudent isn't the worst thing in this day and age. I still think you look at what a player like Ali could give to us, and a free like Ayew as well? I think that is where they need to be so much better considering it is their 'model'.

I must admit - getting emotional is a bit of a sign as well. I really don't approve of it! A lot of the criticism of FSG is valid - but Klopp isn't their 'only' good signing! Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez, Mane, Can, Henderson, Firminho, and a few others have been good. Not good enough, but far from the worst. Considering the model - they need to be the best, which they are a long way from.

Let's be fair - we all know the same. Fuck all! We all read the same papers, follow the same social media accounts and the information is the same - what is different is how it is perceived. And that seems to be it - are you a glass half full, or half empty! I think both have an argument, both equally valid since we are all basing our outlook on perception. But, as a fact - nothing is going to be clear until the window closes. What I will say is this - I have no doubt (obvious exceptions), that those who are criticising and cynical would love nothing better than to be proven wrong! It does seem a bit pointless this sniping since nothing is based on facts!

What this business 'leaders' don't get is that nobody wants them to be poor, everybody would love to run their own successful business, be wealthy and live the highest of fine lives. None of us begrudge that. We begrudge you doing all that on our back, at the expense of our health and well being, by taking away our rights, by treating us as cannon fodder, useful tools to work out and throw away! They should be thankful for politicians like Corbyn - because otherwise it would be riots on the streets and violence!

He won't go this year. Barcelona are very good at this - their personal media, different rules over tapping up, propaganda football stylee. But they can't afford him! If they plop £100m plus on the table then anyone would think about it. But they can't afford to. So we will have this season to persuade ourselves he's overrated and that Woodburn is the better player.

Dunkirk = excellent, really good and hit's the right note. I'm not a patriotic person but the film did make you think about what it took for everyone to have pulled together like that. Thought it was a nice touch to have a young Albert Trotter as the lead as well! Not sure what the point of that young lad was?
