  1. Gonna use this thread for slagging Henderson and the other to slate the paucity of options from the bench.
  2. Bot sure how much stock to put in this like, but anyway... https://mobile.twitter.com/MaddockMirror/status/1092390982769876997
  3. Ha...fair do's, Wool... The point is joking aside that there is room for both and always has been. Piledrivers like Stevie scored frigging loads of or tap ins - the thing is doing the right thing in the right moment. Stevies 2006 cup final piledriver for example or any one of the loads of times he slotted in someone for a tap in - all as valid and important as each other.
  4. Hard to see him playing again this season. Obviously depends on details of op and its success, but given way this has played out since it happened probably be the case. Really bad news.
  5. The Gerrard v Olympiakos moment replayed in 2020. Time is running out - a goal is needed as Liverpool are playing Shaktar Donetsk at Anfield in the final group game - Liverpool push and push for the goal that will see them through to the knockout stages - nobody wants to wake up in the Europa League tomorrow.... The Reds attack down the left - Andy Robbo puts the ball across the box and it is knocked down by Bobby Firmino into the path of Jordan Henderson just outside the penalty area......Anfield holds its breath as Henderson runs onto it and hits in on the half volley.... Tony Moanero attending his first LFC game since 1988 sitting in Block 205 of the Kop has just opened up a packet of Chocolate Hobnobs and is about to dunk into his freshly poured from his Thermos cup of tea.....Hederson unleashes a rocket........ Tea is fucking everywhere and biscuits scattered all over the place, his Tartan blanket soaked and it is mayhem - but not in celebration, oh no....the ball has smashed straight into poor Tone and it's MTK Budapest next up at Anfield in the Europa and to make things worse The Asda on Breck Road is all out of Chocolate Hobnobs as he makes his way disconsolately home.
  6. Loads to do in Summer, especially given the deadwood that should be jibbed off then...Sturridge, Origi, Moreno, Lallana....
  7. Here are the numbers for this season so far: 1.Tottenham Hotspur 10 2.Arsenal 9 3.Manchester City 9 4.Southampton 7 5.Watford 7 6.Everton 6 7.Manchester United 6 8.Chelsea 5 9.West Ham United 5 10.Crystal Palace 4 11.Huddersfield Town 4 12.Leicester City 4 13.Liverpool 4 14.Cardiff City 3 15.Fulham 3 16.AFC Bournemouth 2 17.Wolverhampton Wanderers 2
  8. Agree on this - only thing i would say is they know what it takes to get it done, have the belief of knowing they can do it. Hopefully we will have that after this season.
  9. Is right. Sadly plenty of us are bricking it though - wish i wasn't but it's just way it is. Will make it all the sweeter if we get the whole thing done!
  10. Anderson is lightning quick isn't he? Can't have him isolated v Milner
  11. It's a timing thing again though for me. Yes we are better than them of course we are - but it's another game where we play after the others, under pressure after their results...West Ham have had some bad results lately and will want to bounce back at home - under lights, good atmosphere etc. If it was 3pm Saturday and not after the others had won and not before City get what i see as a bonus game midweek i would be saying we'll bum them. Not to mention our depleted defence. But title winning teams have to pass these tests and we have to go and pass it
  12. Feels like could only be us where in the space of 7 days we go from possibly going 7 pts clear to it being possible we could end up behind. Tomorrow really is massive in terms of confidence and with those cunts having a nice little bonus game we really need to win.
  13. Game shouldn't be taking place on weds - it is a disgusting situation that it is.
  14. Gonna get worse when City smash bitters in their bonus competitive advantage game they have been handed
  15. Just had a look on twatter and on an Arsenal forum and the general consensus is their team selection today is a joke and they are gonna get dicked.
  16. We can deffo get at them if our front 3 are fit and firing - which of course with the mancs deal with the devil will see at least one of mane or salah injured for that game.
  17. Having someone with a decent dig on them in team and chipping in with a handful from outside the box a season and as said by someone above keeping a keeper busy/maybe we'd be able to knock in some parried shot is no bad thing. I don't see why wishing we had this and being generally happy with how many goals we actually score have to be mutually exclusive.
  18. Exactly. It was always the case that as soon as they got rid of shitcoat any manager with a clue and even the prick they have was going to get a tune out of what is a good squad. They aren't going away any time soon. Them not getting top 4 would be handy but looks nailed on they will to me.
  19. Nailed on they'll go there and be really passive - create next to fuck all, concede then have a go for 10 mins, have a man sent off and go on to collapse 4 or 5 nil.
