  1. Hey Bobby Hundreds! No Bobby Hundreds don't tell me.Let me guess. You're an Internet Warrior. You are in Hong Kong or Adelaide or somewhere. You've never seen the sky over Anfield. You've got Sky or something but you're as lonely as a peanut and you know how to cut and paste stuff! My guess is that you sit there trawling sites like this hoping that somebody somewhere realises what a clever chap you are! Oh! Bobby Hundreds! I feel sorry for you.I really do.
  2. Well,I've been counting! And I think we should buy every single one of the 1,492 players suggested on here to improve the squad! You've all convinced me that we should sell Carroll,Henderson,Maxi,Downing,Gerrard,Skirtel,Enrique and Adam! Dalglish? Bin him right now!Guardiola? Mourinho? Klinsmann? Tomorrow can't come quick enough for me! But then I think that I'm a Liverpudlian and I've always done nothing more spectacular than shouting encouragement for the Team. So I just think I'll carry on doing that for the time being. And if,over the next few years,it all goes pear-shaped,well,I'll just carry on shouting and encouraging! Sad really isn't it?
  3. Like TB I'm old enough for a bus pass.I've grown up disliking that club to the point where today I detest everything about them. Why? Well when I think about it my opinions started to be formed at a very young age like most of us one way or another. My Dad and my Uncles were Football Supporters, mainly Liverpudlians, going to the Match every week.My first game was in the mid 50's when we were in the 2nd Division. It wasn't that they said anything directly to me.It was just the odd comment they made to each other that I picked up on.I started to form the impression that they felt ManU was a team of "playboys" and "fly by nights".I remember them making a reference to their players advertising Brylcreem and cars! In those days that didn't seem to sit well with working class men from a working class City. These were men who occasionally came home from work on the bus talking to one of the LFC players of the day. So,in my young mind, they were a team of "Jack the Lads" and "Flash Harrys" and we were a team of honest to goodness working class heroes. I guess we never set out to intentionally change opinions formed in childhood, we probably just become more aware and gain more knowledge and information and ultimately reconsider. In my case, everything I have discovered over the years has just endorsed my feelings and made me realise that My Old Dad and my Uncles were right all along;ManU is an organisation based on deceit and arrogance. Their Chairman in the 60's Louis Edwards bribing officials and selling condemned meat for school dinners. The same Louis Edwards hauled in for making illegal payments to potential players. His son Martyn arrested for peeping under women's toilets and then investigated for illegal and fraudulent share dealings when they became a PLC.That clubs disgraceful treatment of their players who survived Munich, kicking them out of their club houses and swindling them out of their pensions and compensations.Their managers over the years,Docherty; surrounded in controversy;Atkinson an arrogant buffoon and Ferguson the biggest cheat in any sport. And that whole organisation which manipulates the media and the football authorities alike. And their supporters with their chants of "We're Manunited and we do what we want! They've had success over the years and fair enough;so have we.But our success was always achieved with honour and integrity intact. Anyway, that's my story and I know that whatever they achieve they will always be a morally bankrupt organisation."Knock Liverpool off their F*****g perch?" Never in a million years!
  4. Some of them are still waxing lyrical about Hodgson;some of them are still calling for 'arry! But a lot of them are suddenly asking "Why Hodgson?" "Get your boots on boys!Run up there!Run down there!Right that's it!That's our tactics sorted!" But suddenly the media's asking "How come Roy?"But they didn't ask that when he came here!. Amazingly,he's now being questioned as an England Manager! Some of our friends in the media are saying he's never achieved anything apart from a Swedish 3rd Division title. Just wait till he talks about Ukraine and Sweden being formidable opponents ! But they all thought he was good enough for is!
  5. I have an Audi R8.It's the best value Sports car you could ever get.A V10 Coupe. I also have a RS6 Avant and Audi sponsors a number of teams;Bayern Munich,Real Madrid etc. I don't buy copies of Beatles songs because Take That sing them!
  6. Oh little boy! Good night!Lights Off now!
  7. By the way....it's "a pocket full of HOPE!" Think!"I'm sick to death of hearing things from Mommy's little chauvinists!"
  8. I don't like Audi!I don't like Benitez! I don't like Spearing!I don't like Downing!I don't like Henderson!I don't like Adam!I don't like Commolli!I don't like Kuyt! I don't like FSG! I don't like Sammy Lee! I don't like Carroll! I don't like The Reserves! I don't like Maxi! I don't like Suarez!I don't like Dalglish!I don't like the seats in The Kop!I don't like Smiths Crisps!I don't like the toilets!I don't like the long walk from from parking!I don't like the tactics!I don't like Lucas(but he's alright now)!I don't like 4-4-2!I don't like 4-3-3!I don't like Sunday kick-offs! I don't like Glenn Johnson!I don't like Monday night games! I don't like the Old Ground!I won't like the New Ground! I don't like Sky! I don't like old players! I don't like new players!I don't like short ball!I don't like long ball! Jesus Christ!Is there anything I've missed? I like Liverpool! I support Liverpool! If we went into the 2nd Division or the 3rd Division! I'm a Liverpudlian!I'll always support Liverpool!I'll always support Dalglish!I'll always support whoever plays for us!If I knew any better I'd be a player or the Manager!But I don't,so I support The Team and whoever plays for us!Through and thin! Thank you!
  9. He dived! There is no question! But as a young lad coached in the modern game my point is that he's probably been encouraged to do that from quite a young age. Maybe we can sort him out:he's still quite young and has a decent level of skill. But I still stand by what I say.The only thing you can give to any player in any sport is an "all consuming"desire to win.And maybe under Kenny's guidance Andy will develop that But I think that modern coaching has encouraged players to fall over too often. But I also think that Kenny will get the best out of him in the end!
  10. There you have it Section_31 why would anybody reply without reading the whole comment?Clever Boy!
  11. You have to ask yourself would Ian Rush have done what Carroll did? Then you have to ask why not?The answer is that Rush played to win.A simple philosophy of scoring more goals than the opposition and risking injury to score. It's not Carroll's fault,he's probably been coached since he was 3 years old.And he's probably been encouraged to fall over when he feels or imagines the slightest touch. The difference with Rush is that he just wanted to score goals and didn't have that type of coaching. And then you have to look at why would we sign Carroll? If you just go on OPTA stats it's quite impressive. And if you go on OPTA stas for this season you'll see that Downing has put in 60 odd crosses and had 50 odd shots. But unfortunately nobody has scored a prem goal from one of his crosses and he hasn't scored a prem goal from one of his shots! But his OPTA stats are quite good. And there you have it !FSG transfer policy seems to be based on age,OPTA stats and nationality.Liverpool's success was always based on players being winners and being determined to win.OPTA stats don't tell you that. I quite like Carroll and Downing but I just wonder how much input Kenny had in signing them.I'm certain that when he has more say in the next transfer window we'll see a different type of player joining us. And the signings won't be based on OPTA stats!Kenny's a winner and he'll be signing winners;regardless of what the OPTA stats say!
  12. Oh for fucks's sake I've had enough of this! Some of you knobheads need to read and digest what's written on here! You're all so quick to slag off anything you don't understand.I think mainly because a lot of you have been "Liverpool Supporters" for a very short time and have no idea about the history of this Club. Let me spell it out....There is one Man above all others connected with Liverpool FC who has time and again put everything on the line for us.Including his own well-being! If we can't support him in what he's trying to do and understand his motives then you shouldn't be calling yourselves SUPPORTERS! He's had to deal with an influx of about 10 (TEN!)new players and most of them were signed as he became Manager. Not much time to pick and choose in the circumstances! So he's had to make do and mend.Add to that 2 players (Gerrard and Lucas) missing for most of the season and you begin to get the picture of the job in hand. I guess a lot of you have no idea about the the history of LFC and the part Kenny Dalglish has played in our history. And to suggest that I'm a WUM or calling for Kenny Dalglish to be sacked is plain crazy and makes me wonder what these pages are all about! Are people on here "supporters" or professional critics? It's easy to watch TV and read the biased papers then trot out opinions. But I thought that this was a "Supporters Forum" where we closed ranks and supported. Jesus Christ!I sense that most of you have never been to Anfield in your lives!I guess that most of you have never swayed in The Kop!I guess that most of you have no understanding of what it means to be a true Liverpool Supporter! Correct if I'm wrong and if I am I apologise but I know I'll now get a tirade of abuse from the people I'm aiming this at!!!!
  13. Thanks "The Chimp" I go back a long way with Liverpool.I'm not a WUM or anything like that but it seems that here unless you've got a mostly stupid point to make which appeals to 12 year olds or recently converted "reds"you get slagged off! Just to say again: Kenny Dalglish has done more than anybody could reasonably ever ask for this Club. And I think you "The Chimp" will understand what I'm talking about. Why should we give up on him now?Why shouldn't we respect EVERYTHING he's done. Why in the middle of this "crisis" shouldn't we remember "You'll Never Walk Alone".Do people on here understand that?Do people know what that means and how it came about? It wasn't just a hit record from the 60's.It was an anthem sung loudest when we were losing to show that we were all together! All for one! Not much of that on here is there!
  14. So let's get all of them! What a great idea! Any more names to throw in?Mark Hughes?Sam Allardyce? Why stop there? Let's get them all!I'm sure between them they could do better than Kenny. And what about Moyes and Wenger and that Manager of Uzbekistan 3rd Division team Oluzek Omnipetik;I can't remeber his name. Oh they could all do a better job than Dalglish. So let's have your suggestions......unless you're a 14 year old with your laptop working after "lights out"in your bedroom with one window open on "Soccer Manager" and another open on this forum! Do me a favour-let's hear some support. We can all be smart-arses after the event! Do me a favour
  15. I don't want to see this!Kenny Dalglish is an all time legend and will always be in my eyes. But I just don't want to see you putting yourself through this. You've done more than anybody could ever ask. I'm not saying that I want anybody else! I'm just saying that I can't bear to see what's going on for your sake. If you decide to carry on that's fine by me and I will always support you. You've achieved so much in the last 12 months but nobody can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! So if they don't give you the money at the end of the season.....well you'll always be a legend......and if you decide to carry on...well I'm with you.....but just don't get too hung up about it.I would never ask for more than you've already given! Good Luck!
  16. This how it works:The BBC broadcasts a carefully worded piece of news;the opening paragraph says "A SENIOR MERSEYSIDE Police Officer blamed drunken Liverpool fans for the Hillsborough disaster". And that's it;with one fell swoop they've nipped any other damaging revelations about Thatcher in the bud. This is how the Establishment works. They know that the vast majority of people who read and heard that leak will think it was the official conclusion of the released government papers. Most of them will never hear or see anything else that comes out. They will have made their minds up based on the leak. And most of all I fear that the majority of the media will fall in line and whitewash again. And that's the bit that gets me-how the Families could do with a hand from the media who are all afraid to come out with any support in case they miss out on a knighthood or m.b.e. The Battle goes on!
  17. It's obvious that KD + LFC weren't just supporting their man for the sake of it.Their attitude from the start was clearly based on a belief that there was some injustice somewhere. KD is NOT a stupid man and LFC is NOT a stupid organisation - no matter what the media would have you believe. It seems to me that they were ready to go head to head with the F.A. till the 115 pages were published. At that point there is NO appeal against an F.A. verdict-you can only appeal the punishment and if you do so the chances are that the punishment will be increased.Just to be clear THERE IS NO APPEAL AGAINST AN F.A. VERDICT! We were left high and dry and you only have to look at what we were up against. For over half a century now there has been one club which has ridden roughshod over anybody and everybody who got in their way.Just check your history and see the behaviour of a succession of Directors,Managers and Players over the years and how that disgusting culture has been played down and hastily forgotten in the media. Now the whispers are starting about what really happened. Will the truth ever come out?I don't know. But the clue to the truth surely lies in a simple question to ask yourself...Do you think that ManU started the action against Suarez to further the cause of race relations in the interests of improving race relations?
  18. I thought this was a wind up at first! But you know not one of those lazy-arsed morally bankrupt journos will have a shred of professional pride left in them to question it.After all they've written during the last few months not one of them will have the guts to stand up.Even though this latest charade is clearly taking the piss out of them too!
  19. Without doubt the most even-handed and level-headed commentator on this whole debacle. They've got no answer! Barnes asks Barclay where he was when he was being abused when he joined Liverpool.Barclay says "Oh John you can't level that at me.I was just a hoik on a ....." (fades away).Barclay was appointed Football Correspondent to the Independent 1986.He was still there when Barnes joined Liverpool in 1987. What do these people take us for? John Barnes presents a compelling case for reason and perspective.A man with more experience on these issues than the lot of them put together. It just makes their half-arsed non agendas look pretty feeble. But John Barnes has had a lot of exposure in the media over the last few days and his message has been fair and consistent. How come these people who head up Anti racist organisations don't display a shred of his integrity. He's put the lot of them to shame by highlighting the root causes of these issues and pointing out that they don't begin and end in football.Meanwhile the only contribution these anti-racist organisations can make is suggesting that Suarez is banned for more games! It puts them to shame! It just makes you wonder why none of these holier than thou journos on their high horses have stopped to ask what aspect of the Suarez Evra case served the anti-racism cause? Seriously, was the motive initially to further the cause of racial harmony and respect? We know the only people (or person) who can answer that one!
  20. No Mate,The list is about people he has tried to destroy.I don't think Webb and Riley have made the list........yet!
  21. Informer I think you are spot on with that.It was a half baked offering of a handshake. If I was being kind I would say it was the proverbial "stand-off".Neither wanted to make the first move and quite frankly they shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place. It's pretty obvious that Dalglish and Suarez feel very strongly about what happened in the first place. And my trust in Dalglish is totally without question! People say we should have challenged the FA to begin with.Understand this THERE IS NO CHALLENGE TO THE FA ALLOWED! NO APPEAL! It would just result in an increased ban. Their processes have been criticised in many legal quarters for a long time now but they are quite simply a law unto themselves. The thing that worries me in all this is that Dalglish is a highly principled man.At the moment he is putting his own feelings to one side in the interests of LFC and the Club's supporters.God help us if he decides he's had enough!
  22. It's all kicked off again! We issued our apologies, the media reported that and then carried on as though nothing had happened to change anything! This isn't going away!Do you think Manu were sincere in their thanks to Liverpool? No f***ing way. We're up against a massive PR organisation and their agenda isn't racism. It's about making sure LFC don't get near that f***ing perch again. It's obvious we don't have the same PR clout as them.By comparison we're a small time outfit when it comes to dealing with the media.Just look at the track record of Manu over the years.Conspiring to abuse and crush anybody who challenges them. So what can we do?Will it satisfy them if we all go around for the next few months wearing sack-cloth and ashes? What about issuing more apologies? There's a new Anti racism hero come out this morning calling for Suarez to be banned for 3 games and saying that he should make a public apology to Evra. No this isn't going away any time soon! And we're in a nailed on no-win situation with the media. I wonder what would have happened had we come out fighting after the game and called for Ferguson to be rebuked for his disgusting comments about LFC should get rid of Suarez and he shouldn't play for us again? If this man had an army he'd be marching on us this morning! Well sometimes you have to choose your battleground. We're never going to get anywhere thinking we can get a fair deal in the media.Manu's massive PR organisation will see to that! So,here's my idea.We make a public announcement and call for all parties to reconcile their differences by attending a joint press conference. We say we want The F.A.,the P.F.A. and Ferguson and Dalglish to face the media and reconcile their differences publicly instead of all this behind the scenes briefing and leaking of mis-information. What have we got lose? And,more importantly what have they got lose?If any one of them refuses they lose the moral high ground and if they all agree we put this to bed once and for all!We stop the F.A. hiding behind that 115 page rubbish,we call Gordon Taylor to explain exactly what he meant about Liverpool refusing talks and we get Ferguson to accept that the saga is over and we move on.
