Big improvement since Kenny took over, but do tink a lot of thank is down to the more ball playing defence we now have, rather than the lump balls forward attitude under Hodgson. Met him once or twice in the city, nice fella. Young & wudn't want to mess with him, to be honest think he is the perfect no fuss customer to have next to a ball playing centre half like Agger... if ever we can keep him fit!!

I think its an excellent move for Pacheco & one he probably should have been pushing for earlier in the season. But that said he's going to Norwich who are 2nd in the Championship table with 6/7 games to go maybe more if they end up in the play offs. Paul Lambert has done a brilliant job wit them playing passing,attractive, attacking football. As for Pacheco being too small you only have to look how well Wes Hoolahan is doing for them to see how a team can play to a small players strenghts in a tough league. The thing I'd be really interested in is how he does playing alongside Hoolahan & Holt upfront... you could argue its a lot lesser but Championship version of Suarez & Carroll, so maybe Kenny has selected Norwich as much as them coming in for Pacheco... Either way it'll be a big few months for Pacheco & maybe a chance to prove some people wrong

Totally agree, I know its wembley this year, but some of the places Liverpool have had to go to as soon as the finla whistle whistle in the semi-final blows the online flights prices shoot up by hundreds, thats before you take accoomdation & beer money into account. Always get wary when I see these kinds of interviews in the papers after International matches, you know the press have twisted it in the translation, pretty much of what I thought of Reina's comments earlier in the week too. That said Agger has been brilliant under Kenny, the way he brings the ball out from the back suits the 3 centre halves perfectly, at times he's like another midfielder. It was a shockin damnation of Hodgson that he picked Kyrgiakos ahead of Agger when he was fit, says everything about the type of football he wanted us to play

I think Johnson has vastly improved on the left compared to on the right, maybe its down to the fact that on his left side his attacking insticts are restricted a little bit which makes him focus more on his defending which was always the citicism I had of him at right back, but Kelly has been a revelation since he came into the side & the more games he gets under his belt the better player he looks. Aurelio has done well enuf when selected I've always thought his ability on the ball was under rated. But we shudn't forget about Insua he's still only 22 & capped for his country, you only have to look at Lucas to see how much a player can improve once he is given a run of games, I heard rumours there was talk of him coming back in January because Hagi didn't want loan players at Galatasaray... All in all I think were fairly well covered at full back for the moment, especially as Carra can also cover in an injury crisis. There are certianly other positions that we are worse off in & cud probably do with strenghtening them first with any money we spend i.e. Pacey winger, back up for Reina

Cant believe no one mentioned Carra!! Cisse aswell away at Spurs, El Zhar in Carling cup game & I've a crazy memory of Abel Xavier scorin away in 6-0 rout at Ipswich, think that was his debut but not 100% sure... Dont think The Rat scored on his debut. Did he not make his debut away at Villa when Stevie scored the free kick in the last min to win 2-1?, scored on his home debut against the Rent Boys alright
