I can’t understand people who would sacrifice two cups for fourth place. I understand 4th has merits for the coming seasons, but at the end of the day playing football is all about winning trophies. There are 4 to win in a season and securing 1 or 2 is a great achievement. Nothing is handed out for 4th.

Have to agree with this. Adam has been slagged but he had a decent game yesterday, and has shown his worth in some games just gone off the boil. I dont see it with Henderson. He did fuck all 1st half and the game passed him by. What are his strengths? He is flat footed too and runs funny. Who has made it being flat footed with ten to two feet apart from Pires?? -

They didnt though did they. Carroll is on 70kish a week aguero 200k, both over 5 years. So if Aguero cost 3 million more in transfer fees he actually costs over 35 million more during the course of his contract. Dont let that stop you from talking shite though.
