  1. He's not the only one, but yet to see one successful press from Henderson yet. Second off the pace of everything
  2. I'd love to have him but I'm not even sure we 'need' Bellingham. We need a Gini 2.0, or even a couple of them, technically proficient strong midfielders who can protect the ball, run, move it quickly and enable our system to get firing again.
  3. Basing this opinion purely on a long, even by the athletics standard, article on our sports science and physio department and conflict behind the scenes, it seems there are alot of factors going on behind the scenes which may be contributing to our injury problems and seeming loss of identify and ability to press this season. I just hope Klopp is driven by what's happening this season and wants to stay to turn it around. There are also murmurs that he may be the key decision maker in keeping players who others have wanted to move on sooner. All conjecture but interesting if so
  4. Hate these interviews, do your talking on the pitch. I would love him to look like he could be a consistent top player at the level we require, but I don't see it unfortunately
  5. There's just no way a team that has been to cl finals 2 of the last 4 years and racking up nearly 100 points a season should be putting a side out like we did today for a competitive game.
  6. I think the squad is a pacy wide player short actually. Seeing it at the moment with no Diaz or Jota. Another fast one who can play either side would be great.
  7. By all accounts he's more of a 'manager' than a training ground coach. Michael Beale been doing very well at QPR and just turned down the wolves job apparently. The football did look very houllier/Rafa esque at both rangers and villa from what I saw. Disappointed for him and difficult to see where he goes from here as a manager. Not sure I could see him stepping down the divisions
  8. Zaha on a free ability wise would be a very good signing for someone. Reasons against would be that he's 29 now. Also is he able to press? I haven't seen enough of him to know. If he can't/won't then no point. And the third thing is he seems like a bit of a weird guy, would he fit into the team ethic?
  9. He'd have to work defensively but if you tried him on the left in a 4-3-3 with Bobby then you could get them both running in behind. Not suggesting it's the solution but it's definitely a tactical option
  10. Was fairly comfortable till the subs. Get the need to rest thiago, problem is how very average we look without him. Darwin surely didn't need a rest and was absolutely menacing.
  11. Shame Darwin has gone off, looks dangerous.
  12. Had to Google this to believe it, it's almost worse than anything Guardiola could say, what an absolute snivelling little cunt of a human.
  13. Gutting news for him. With him and Diaz out, the squad is really looking like we're a wide player short
  14. He's got all the tools and made up he signed a long term contract as he will be a top centre half. He was arguably pretty much there when he sustained the last horrendous injury. Says alot about where he was then that even without van dijk we were looking fine with Joe moving over to the left centre back slot. He hasn't quite looked the same since till yesterday, which is arguably understandable. Compared with Konate and Matip he seems to need more time when coming back into the team at cb to regain performance level, which is not ideal for a reserve cb. It's arguably decision making and positioning which is his biggest weakness when rusty.
  15. None of that is his fault, he's a different type of player and we need to evolve. If we were ticking well it would be a beautiful thing, we'd have so many ways to crack a nut, with him Bobby and Jota all able to bring different things to the side. I'm sure he can play just fine in a 4-3-3. Problem is as well all know the midfield has fallen apart without reinforcements, so our press is broken, and that's probably the biggest factor in our becoming easy to play against and leaking goals.
  16. This is the conundrum isn't it. It's either got to be go back to 4-3-3, or its the 4-4-2 variant and Salah is one of the 2. Problem is we don't have the wingers really so you'd be playing Elliott on the right in a game I don't think he's ready for. I'd go 4-3-3 for this one and play Jota Bobby and Salah
  17. Be very interesting to see how we line up Sunday
  18. Bobby! Looking world class, you couldn't write it
  19. We need to sign a fast wide player and 2 midfielders. Fucked if I know what we do till that happens
