This Mkhitaryan saga is a long drawn out process ... Trying to get to the real owners of the player is like a long Indiana Jones crusade ... Cloak and dagger stuff by all accounts .. if he doesn't sign it won't be because another club went straight in with a higher offer ... Little of the negotiation is with Shaktar we hear .. so Spurs can't go straight to the club like they usually do with a bigger wedge .. no they would have to trace our steps through the Pyramid of snakes ... Down the waterfall ... Across the Canyon with the wobbly bridge only to find Ian Ayre was there the day before on his Harley and is on route to Melwood with Mkhitaryan riding pillion ..

Luis is one of the top 3 or 4 players in the world ... do his wages reflect that status ?... that is what he will get in his ear from agents etc all the time. How many lesser Prem players outstrip him for earnings ... plenty. So many overpaid shite players around we would have to pay mega money wages to replace Luis so it shows it can't be done. He is worth far more to us than a fat transfer fee and if FSG entertain that they are not fit to own us.

I got the same 'who you playin in next round of the Europa ... blah blah' off 2 of the bitterest you will ever meet last week ... they have not spoken to me since tho after I told them we deliberatly threw the game coz we had no more room in the trophy cabinet. Even asked if we could borrow an empty cabinet from Woodison as they're not using them !! With the blueshite I always respond with idiotic shite to them and it seems to work .. outdoo there shite with some of yer own .. take it to their level.

When they changed the rules to allow extra subs, was there a condition that said you must name 3 CH's on your bench AT HOME !!!!! FFS ... As we failed to bring in a new striker one of Yesil or Morgan should be on the bench each game ... no excuse ... they will benefit from it and get them game time in Europe too as much as possible.. we may just find a player ..one who takes to it

I expect this lad to be given a chance with the first team at some stage ... in the same way Morgan has. His goals record at international level for his Germany team is outstanding and he has done very well in international tournament matches too. As Brendan has stated, age is no barrier if the ability is there. I am sure I also read somewhere that after his achievements in reserve team football he was to be included in Leverkusens' full squad for the season up to when we bought him. I asked a work collegue in Germany who is well up with German fooball if he knew of him and he said this lad is well known and very well thought of. He said to me he is very like Benzema - tall, strong, lots of pace, two footed and hard working. Just passing it on ..

I was 751 ish in April and have not moved since despite 400-500 season tickets being sold ... It is a disgrace the way they manipulate the list ... dodgy as ....

I'd say the issue has been put to bed ... he looks like he could play for any top side in Spain, Italy etc and not be out of place .. quality player.

You may be correct ... Rodgers is no mug and he will understand he got this job to get us playing HIS brand of football as seen at Swansea, otherwise we could have kept faith with Kenny and gave him another season. If we don't see a marked improvement in Results and performances without bringing in and replacing players for key positions he knows he can spin the owners the silk purse line ... The Gylfi saga identified his need for new blood in the attacking midfield position ... if we don't sign a player in that position it looks very strange as Gerrard was always going to play somewhere in his thoughts ..
