Yet he still seemed to slot in quite effortlessly, as with all new players you expect nerves, you expect them to "over try" and debuts usually are a little bit of a let down . So forgive us who actually see what there is likely to come in the next few weeks, for me, he is a must start on sunday alongside Kuyt .

To hear Kenny say Suarez has not even trained with the lads yet, to see him put in a performance that looked like his 4th or 5th game with the club is very promising, think we have a diamond with this lad .

Pretty much sums up what yesterday was all about, we still have enough players to cover a decent line up and an attacking force that is considerably stronger than it was last week . I'd still be happier if we recalled Ayala from loan as a left back but tbh GJ has not been doing to bad there . Now if we can just get Cole to find some form we will have 5 of the best attackers in the PL . If Gerrard, Cole, Meireles, Suarez, Carrol and Maxi can turn it on, we WILL beat Chavski to the 4th place spot, that im very confident of .
