Good game so far, Gerrard looked really slow in the first 20 minutes, often leading to Hendo being out of position. 60 minutes should bring on Lallana to have a go where Gerrard is. Other than that I don't think anyone has been particularly poor, I've been impressed with most of Sakho's passes from the back and Emre is so class. Ibe and Markovic work really really well together.

Playing well so far. Markovic looking good. Sakho can be shaky at times but he has started last few games like this and gone on to be good.

Two quality players that would improve us no end quickly would be Ter Stegen on loan and Pjanic. I've always quite liked Pjanic, I just wonder whether he's good enough defensively. However, two world class players in positions that we need filling.

Off topic, but Rodgers always invites sacked managers to view training for a couple of weeks to get them back on their feet. Does anyone know of any people we've had in? I can only find Steve Lomas, but swear i've seen photos of other managers watching training

Milner would be a very good replacement for gerrard for the short term if we weren't spunking shit loads
