Maybe so - but I've never applied for a job and not got it - so the shot wasn't fatal. You smile and talk about being a perfectionist in the standards you set for yourself and realising that that's a weakness - blah blah blah like I said it's a dance - you have to give them weaknesses but you have to make them the kinda weaknesses that will at least have upsides. It's all 100% bs all of it, and both interviewer and interviewee knows it.

Job interviews are just pure shit. They have a good idea whether they're going with you or not inside 5 minutes but they have to do this big fucking dance around - so they feel professional. I hate the 'what are your strengths and weaknesses' question. Seriously who in there right mind answers that honestly. What are you going to say -"well a lot of the time I can't be arsed, I like to throw the odd sickie and if you 'micro-manage' me I will find ways to fuck your with your mind just to amuse myself - but enough of my strengths!" I always say my weaknesses are things like - being a perfectionist, being so driven and hard-working I have to remember to pace myself and take breaks - I know, I know, pass the sickbag - but they eat that crap up. anyway , good luck mate, hope you get a call back

I agree singling out Lucas is absurd BUT I would have to disagree it was the same team with the 'odd exception'. Suarez and Gerrard are not the 'odd exception'. Suarez was motm against the Mancs and Stevie played very well, and put in a real disciplined shift, made lots of tackles and passed well etc You take those two players out of Sunday's game and you aren't going to watch anything like the same game imho Several players who played today did not play as well as they did on Sunday sure but players like Gerrard and Suarez, make those around them appear to play better too.

Here's a few - I'm not sure what you are after. I've tried to find 'action shots' and yeah if you wouldn't mind having a go at making a wallpaper of Kenny or Kenny and Luis at some stage that would be great - as I don't have photoshop and I can't make those things. I can give you some pics of Kenny if you're up for it - but no worries if you'd rather not.

Kenny will make the right call I have faith in Kenny. As I said if Stevie can play properly great but yes I do think there comes a point where a fit Poulsen is better than an invisible Stevie. It's a question of where Stevie is at with the injury - I'm a big fan of Stevies and one of his biggest defenders but last week was one of the worst games I've seen him play, I don't blame him - I blame the injury but I don't see any point in him playing when hes like that.

Yes - Kenny did a pre-match interview Friday (separate to the Presser) and talked about injuries and mentioned Gerrard is a doubt.

To be honest as much as I would obviously like to have Stevie available - he didn't 'play' last weekend and he took up one of our 11 starting berths. I would rather, if he's still not anywhere near fit enough to play properly, see his spot given to someone else.

You mean apart from him refusing to rule out a move to the mancs? And the overall negativity? Personally, I thought there was quite a lot in it that I really wish wasn't in it. Anyway we can agree it's shit-stirring from Lowe and the Guardian to put it out now. Still it wasn't the best interview for Pepe to give with the window closed and him committed to us until May. Sometimes you should keep your own counsel and avoid 'sensitive' quotes for the sake of the club that employs you.
