  1. Many of us has pointed out that Trent doesnt have what it takes to play midfield in a Klopp team. Really dont see the point of that discussion with Bradley either, he ran the show from RB, inverted RB or whatever you call it last night, and has shown his class in every single match he’s played. Thay said Bradley has got far more of the attributes to play midfield in a Klopp team than Trent, but I still reckon he’s better at RB and there are clear reasons he’s being played there.
  2. This. Haven’t seen a young player coming through the system and being this impressive in many years. It’s not been a long run of games, but based on performance he is now a key player to us.
  3. Not sure if serious. Thought us and Abu Dhabi were the ones doing it most frequently.
  4. Well, that’s a surprise! Agree, he played well, at least in the second half, but Van Dijk and Bradley were definately ahead of him for MotM.
  5. He is a very intelligent footballer. Great positioning, excellent overview and great passing through the lines. Also very competitive in the challenges, which I love. Main weakness is pace and mobility, which means he’ll never be perfect for the 8 position in a Klopp team. Endo’s got the same weaknesses, and I reckon playing them together will never be ideal. To me they’re two good DMs, and one of them can also play as an 8.
  6. If loosing away to a team that’s paying probably around 10 times the wages and transfer fees you can afford is ‘shitting themselves’, then yes that’s probably what they’re gonna do. The European competitions have turned a bit shit imo.
  7. Massive massive win that! Didnt actually think at half time that we had that in us. Extremely impressive second half, even if Luton tiring probably was part of the reason. Probably a mix of reasons, including tactical ones, but for me Conor Bradley was absolutely vital to us turning it around. He brought creativity, movement, intensity, desire and not least pure quality. Class act. Apart from Bradley I thought Quansah was good and Van Dijk was excellent. Diaz good, apart from the finishing, but eventually got his goal. Gakpo also decent when allowed to do what he’s good at, mainly caused by better movement around him. Three points, no new injuries, we regroup and move to the next match.
  8. Very strange substitution. Despite one big mistake Bradley has been our best player.
  9. A very poor half that, a bit like one could fear with so many injuries to key players. Main problem is that we have no threat in behind them and no ability to stretch them except Diaz, and that’s not really his best attribute either. All the other players want the ball at feet, and are not at all able to bring what Nunez and Salah in particular, and also Jota to some degree, normally brings. Another weakness is the combination of Endo and Mac Allister in midfield, they lack the pace and mobility to make the pressing work properly. Elliott has the same problem, which make that issue even bigger. We need more pace, power, movement and penetration up front, whether or not we have that on the bench I have no idea. If not I reckon out best hope is a shot from distance. Or a corner, but we really dont look very dangerous from those either. Hope I’m wrong, but I’m not too optimistic about this one.
  10. Absolutely nothing happening ahead of the player on the ball. The people that dont understand what Nunez brings to this team should take notes from this match.
  11. Three points and no new injuries from this and then regroup day by day and week by week is what we can hope for. If we manage to win the league this season it will be a far bigger achievement than 19/20. It simply shouldn’t be possible with the injury problems we’ve had. Come on Reds!!!
  12. Young Bradley played 40 games for Bolton last season. This myth that Bajcetic was ‘run into the ground’ by Klopp is a complete joke, he played 11 games.
  13. This is the standard they decided to apply on their preseason conference in Abu Dhabi last summer.
  14. That situation was hillarious! First time in years I’ve seen a team being forced to take the throw in from the correct spot. Made me laugh out loud that!
  15. PGMOL will travel to Abu Dhabi for a meeting to discuss that incident.
