I think he’d fit perfectly, at least to our current style of play. That said, one of the things Klopp has been brilliant at is picking the right person, even more than the right player. Whether or not Gallagher is a tory boy, or in other ways a bad apple, I dont know. If he is we should stay clear.

Except Ajax isn’t doing much bossing against anyone this season. Neither is Henderson, he seems to be running around pointing and doing backwards passes. Which sounds familiar.

If Chelsea need to sell to cheat their way through the FPL-situation we should get Conor Gallagher. At least if we plan to play anywhere near the way we do now, he’d be perfect in out system. Great energy and intensity, a proper pressing machine.

Dont think we’re back to it, as it’s never been away. Players like Fernandes and not least Odegaard have been very consistent at it all season.

Bradley inverted worked well also today. He probably didnt do it to the same degree as Trent has in some games, but he definately moved into the central position from time to time.

On a day with many good performances I thought he was our best player. As long as he keeps playing like this he should be one of the first names on the team sheet, also when everyone is fit.

Against teams like this he’s extremely important to us. He’s actually extremely important against all opponents, but faced with aerial bombardment he’s by some distance the best defender in the league. Also his passing should get more attention, he’s world class at long range passing.

He played well. He’s got most of the attributes to do it, the skills, the pace, the strength. He’s very good one v one, great ability to collect the ball, turn and beat a man or two. He’s got two problems, the easiest to fix probably being intensity in the pressing. Like Jones he can learn to do that if he really wants to. The other thing is decision making on the ball, which is perhaps more difficult to improve, but hopefully can at least get a little better by coaching and getting to know his team mates and the tactics even better. The potential is there, so let’s see if he can take the step.

His performances has been unreal. If he was a big money signing people would be saying he’s been world class from the first minute.

Agree about the last paragraph. Injuries being the main factor against us, with the amount we’ve had quality, continuity, tactics and momentum will all suffer at some stage.

Very good game today, even if he gave it away to cause danger on a couple of occasions. Also lucky not to get a second yellow. But overall very good, excellent in the positioning, picks up second balls, wins tackles, wins headers and very often makes the sensible decision on the ball.

Another excellent performance from him today. Not as important as Jones and Szoboszlai, but the only reason for that is we have more good options up front. Big blow if he’s injured.

Very good win, but the injuries means I struggled to enjoy it. Nunez, Jota, Endo, Diaz, Salah, Van Dijk and Kelleher all very good today. Best of them all for me however was Conor Bradley. Great defensive performance and excellent on the ball. Fantastic player, should be one of the first names on the team sheet, also when everyone is fit.
