Went on to Blackburn a few times last season with mates who support them and it was mayhem on the Darwen End. Nobody sat down for a minute. Pretty sure we bought tickets for that end once even though the stand had sold out.

We are so predictable at the moment that if Redknapp managed to stay sober over the weekend and put any kind of game plan together they should be able to handle us. It's horrible to say but we are all over the place at the moment. Not bothered by who plays as everyone just seems as bad as each other these days but the manager needs to try something different up front. We have zero cutting edge in front of goal and instead of sorting it out the manager seems to have hid behind the Dempsey fiasco. They have won 1 of their last 10 games, surely we will have enough to scratch out a win here?

Outside of maybe Johnson the rest of that starting 11 are playing in their "correct" position. The manager needs to stop throwing players in, playing them out of position and hoping for the best in his fairy tale 433 formation. By all means bring in the players to fit said formation but until then I hope he gets his head out of his ass and starts getting a few results. The last thing we need now is to risk injury to players we will be looking to offload in 2 weeks time ie. Downing and Cole. These players offer little or nothing anyway so no point putting them in. Rest for Allen and Sterling. Fulham were beaten by QPR last weekend, anything but a convincing 3 points will suffice. 12th in the league is a disgrace and all the dvd box sets of Being: Liverpool can't hide that fact. Ultimately Rodgers fate will be decided by the match going fans so he must have been worried by the sight of people streaming out of the ground early last week. It won't be though and that's the horror of it. I'm not entirely sure how they expect us to get top players at anytime other than to pay top money but the problem is top players won't be arsed coming to play for us with the state we are in so I'd be staggered if we got Walcott and I don't even really rate him (but obviously an upgrade on what we have). Looking to resign Tom Ince? Contract wranglings with with our most promising youngsters? Court cases and sackings left, right and centre? I reckon Henry and Werner are a bunch of grade A Dope Fiends. Constantly hammered on that prescription Shoreline. There is no other explanation for what we have seen since they arrived. And whatever may come of it, thank fuck we never signed Sigurdsson and Dempsey.

At 50k a week, over 4 years, is a shade over £10 million. With England caps and appearances for us which will include European experience, unless he hits the crack pipe big time by the time that contract is up we will make our money back on him as some club in the league will take him off us for £10-12m. I think it is a ridiculous amount of money for a player of his age but with budget restrictions, no Champions League and a young manager who I feel will struggle to attract big names to the club with said budget restrictions and no CL football to offer I can't see how we will lose on this one. FSG are always banging on about developing the best young talent, did they think this talent would play for £300 a week? Either or, this may be a nothing story and he will sign on his 18th.
