I reckon ex top pros as managers will be a real rarity. They'd have to have a real passion for the game. Only one who seems to display that is Carra. How good he'd be, I'm not sure. He's learned from some very good managers though, especially regarding the tactical side of the game, and not just motivators. -
No chance. We know FSG have their own advisors, and although we don't have names, journos seem pretty satisfied that they're well placed to be giving advice to Henry on footballing matters.

Cheers. Wedding is now booked for 23 December so can look towards this now. I think I'm decided on Germany, based on some of the advice in here but will do some reesrch into the different cities. Vegas will have to wait for my midlife crisis.

Nah, he had an excellent game so can't call him a choker. His pen wasn't too bad either. An inch to the left and it's in. He did himself no favours by not watching Robben's pen though.

Would make sense to give a new manager (and structure) a massive cash injection to kick start any revolution. Trying to do it on the cheap just makes it all the more difficult. If naming rights are what gives it that injection, then so be it. Assuming we,re getting a new stadium, it's only a matter of time anyway. As said, it will always be Anfield to everyone except Sky.
