    I'd start Reira if fit and possibly Benayoun on the right with Kuyt on the bench but that could go either way. 4-0. Kyrgyakos, Lucas, Torres and Reira.

    I find the results of this unbelievable. I'd be happy if the owners stayed for 30 years if it meant winning the league every year for 30 years. Some of you have become way too obsessed with getting the owners out and seem to prefer campaigning against that then supporting your team.

    How can anyone seriously think Insua should be first choice when both are 100% fit? 'At least get some money back'. He was free for fuck sake and you make out like he is terrible. Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about.

    Van Der Vaart on the left is a waste. He is best in a similar ole to what Gerrard is playing in my opinion, maybe slightly further back than Gerrard has been lately but much more advanced than either Mascherano or Lucas are likely to play, and Aquilani too. I would like to see him signed because he's got that bit of creativity that we often seem to lack but I'm not sure how much we need him. Reira is better on the left and Benayoun has been exceptional for the last 12 months basically. If we had money then it would be a no brainer but as things stand I'm not sure I would sell playerS from an already weak looking squad to sign him.

    Exactly. Wouldn't want him in our squad now either. Aurelio is much better, Insua has the potential to get better and then there is Doss... but what's the point in having four left backs?

    Will be brilliant to have him back. Insua has filled in well, and done me proud after I've been talking up his potential for years, but he just hasn't got the quality of Aurelio at the moment, when it comes to passing and crossing espicially. Aurelio one side and Johnson the other will be quality going forward and provide width that our wingers (minus Reira) aren't capable of. As has been mentioned by far the best free kick and corner taker in the squad as well, which shouldn't be undervalued. Has to be first choice, and by a long way.

    Lucas has to play because, alongide Johnson, he was our only outfield player to come away from WHL with any credibility. Drop Mascherano or Gerrard if you want to change the midfield pair, they were both woeful last week, particularly the later who didn't seem to care and had more shots than passes. Just bcause you don't like a player isn't a reason to blame him when things don't go well. He was one of the only players on Sunday who after the game can feel he deserved his place in the side... Dropping him now would be stupid for him and us.

    Lucas has been our best player out there... In fact the only one playing respectably... The rest have been awful. Not sure where Reira is but he must be injured... Benayoun on in 10 minutes if this hasn't changed.

    Prison break is on every night on Watch. Season one, started last week so a few have been but it's probably the best tv ever. Pretend it finishes after season one if you like.

    He is a quality player and is the most capable we have at beting a player with ball control/dribbling. He's got brilliant technique all he lacks is stamina and pace. Sometimes he made the wrong decsions last season but he was learning about the league, his team mates and the tactics. I expect him to be even better next season and should chip in with 5-10 league goals as well. One of my favourite players to watch.

    I went to see him in Ibiza. I was wrecked but it seemed like he was very good. Big fan anyway though. Album out very soon.

    I guess it's about their attitude as much as talent... El Zhar will be happy as back up and work hard for his chance. I wish Adam the best of luck though. Nice lad really and hugely talented. Hopefully now he has a permanant place sorted out he will settle down and prove what a good player he could be.

    Babel is better than Pongolle and they are all better than Mellor to be honest. You also can't just forget Torres, espicially when he is the only one who would start in our first choice XI. Compare the rest of the squad though and we have come on massively.

    Riera will be a star this year in my opinion.
