The scum players are looking very tired and their defense looks clueless at the moment. If they continue to play like this I honestly beleive that no 19 will be coming home if we win all our remaining games.

The only think simular about Lampard and Gerrard is that they both score a lot of goals and both play in the attacking midfield/support striker role for their respective clubs. Other than that Gerrard pisses all over him in tackling, passing, energy, drive and versatality,(Gerrard can play in almost every position and even in goal if he was asked).

Aurelio hasn't really got the pace to get up and down the line but I guess insua could do the job in that system. We'd definitley need a very attacking rightback though.

At the weekend the interplay between him and torres was mouthwatering in that move where Gerrard played a first time through pass to Torres who went for the far left hand corner but hit the post. If Gerrard continues his form and torres starts banging them again like the back end of last season then we may just win the european cup, Premier league or both. I think we can forget about signing a star striker like Eto or David Villa as Gerrard is going to remain in that support striker/attacking midfield role behind Torres. I wonder whether this means that Barry or a attacking wide player will be coming in this summer because we are clearly not going to be disturbing the partnership again like last summer with the keane saga.

I am as flustrated as anyone and wanted to cause some serious damage when they got the winner but since then I have cooled down and thought things through. There is still a long way to go, we've got seven cup finals now and WE MUST WIN THEM ALL to have any chance. Besides we would have taken this at the begining of the season, its just that our expectations have gone all the way into space with recent results.
