  1. Looked like that to me as well. Not to Neville though, just brushed aside, much like the Gakpo incident.
  2. The only problem with doing this from A to Z is that the thread is usually over in about an hour. This place really needs something to last a bit longer because I really can't be arsed reading fucking arguments about what some cunt has posted on Twitter, some lad who wants to dress as a woman, a conflict we have zero fucking influence over or whatever the fuck is happening in the bitchfest thread. Anyway, Yaleo by Santana.
  3. Shit, where are these no go zones? I might have accidentally walked through one.
  4. Fuck Arsenal. I want them to go again, be all chesty, get the fortuitous decisions, pose for their stupid fucking photos after games - and realise that it's still not enough against this City side.
  5. Are you suggesting that the unemployed shouldn't have the right to vote?
  6. Yeah, sorry, just re-read your earlier post. And yes, you can join the army in the UK at 16 (with parental permission and you can't see combat until 18).
  7. My point about working at 16 was simply to point out the contradiction of treating people as adults in one respect (including joining the army etc.) but then saying that they aren't mature enough to understand what a political party is offering. We'll just have to disagree I suppose.
  8. They can vote for the Scottish and Welsh assemblies as well. I haven't heard of any reported problems with that.
  9. Not sure what you mean. I think you're old enough at 16 to vote and disagree with the assertion that older people shouldn't.
  10. Absolutely. We want more participation, not less.
  11. And the drinking age of 18 only applies if you're buying it yourself. You can drink with a meal at a pub from 16 and if you're at home, you can legally drink from the age of 5. Not that I'd condone that sort of thing, mind. You suspect that the reluctance to give the vote to 16 year olds doesn't really stem from anything other than the fact that barely any of them would end up voting Tory.
  12. You have to wonder why a pgmol is needed at all. Make all officials self employed and have them given games by lottery. None of them need know each other and they certainly shouldn't know who is in the VAR room.
  13. You can get a job and pay tax at 16, but you can't have a say in how your taxes are spent?
  14. I'll have a go as well. This place is shite at the moment and I was going to ask Stig if he'd start one anyway.
  15. Hate that thing. Looks like it was designed by a committee.
  16. It sounds like they're singing it to the tune of the Kirk Douglas film 'The Vikings'. But yeah, it still sounds shit.
  17. First thing an incoming Labour government should do is bin this policy and reduce the voting age to 16.
