  1. Just thinking that before. Brilliant they were. Thank fuck Benitez hasn't got his hands on the Academy yet as there's nothing wrong with our philosophy or abilty to produce good young footballers.
  2. Load of bollocks. Madrid are nothing these days (so much for the continental dominance) and Benitez was one set piece away from another slaughtering. I would have swapped that for 3 points at Boro without a moment's hesitation
  3. Spot on. I can accept not being as good as those above us but to give up with 12 games to go is just not fucking acceptable. Would the mancs give up in that position? No chance. All we can hope for now is Chelsea go on a big run and pip the cunts.
  4. Just not his way to buy just one top class player. He's too anal and prefers 'options' over quality.
  5. Don't get him started on the wage stuff. What's Boro's wage bill by the way? Or Stoke's?
  6. I'd like to see O'Neil offered the job. If he can take that average squad into the elite, imagine what he could achieve with the likes of Gerrard and Torres. I'm sick of this over elaborate, cautious foriegn approach. We need to instill some old fashioned British grit into our play. I don't think I can sit through another limp, lifeless performance like yesterday.
  7. Liverpool FC brilliant brilliant stuff
  8. What makes me laugh is we're constantly told that it's the fractured boardroom situation which is the root cause of Benitez's domestic underacheivment, yet this is the norm for many of the top continetal clubs, who are run by absolute lunatics. Just look at the Madrid presidential campaigns, etc. Same in Italy, it's a constant circus.
  9. The Agger delay makes total sense now. If Benitez thinks he might have the Madrid job in the summer he'll take Agger with him for a cut price. Slimy fucker.
  10. Funny, I always think 'little bitch' when i read your posts. Uncanny.
  11. I got in around 10.15 after a few pints, you geeky little snide, and there was plenty of real human interaction and not a googled piccie in sight. Lets face it, even if I was like you love to portray, you'd have to be an absolute cunt to want to use it to score points on the internet. But that sums you up - a snidey little shit with self esteem issues.
  12. Exactly. The players naturally raise their game in the big glamour ties. I'd go as far as saying they're more inspired to be playing for LFC than Benitez, and this idea from his cheerleaders that there'd be a mass exodus if he leaves is just scaremongering nonsense.
  13. Is there a direct correlation between high wages and playing the shittest, most robotic, disjointed football imaginable?
  14. We'll be lucky to finish 3rd. It's clear now that Chelsea are still way ahead of us and just had the wrong manager.
  15. His managment of the squad over the past year has been utterly shambolic. We've let good solid pro's like Crouch, Pennant, Riise, Finnan and Voronin leave and replaced them with Keane, who was sold after a few months, Dossena, Ngog, with El Zhar bumped up from the ressies, and none are better than those who left. Seeing the likes of El Zhar starting, and Lucas and Ngog coming on when we needed to win the game was a real low point - on par with anything we saw under Houllier, and even Souness. He's lost it.
  16. Great, another over hyped foriegner to ruin and struggle to sell.
  17. Holland striker Kuyt said last night: 'The manager told me he wants to give me a new contract but because of his own contract he wanted to sort that out first. 'I'm not too worried about it at this stage, I am focusing on important games coming up. I have never thought the manager would be leaving.' Kuyt, along with Fernando Torres, Javier Mascherano and Pepe Reina, could try to leave if Benítez goes. 'It is very important who the manager is,' he added. The Anfield dressing room has been split by Benítez's public outbursts this season. Some players, like Xabi Alonso, Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard, do not think the manager's recent tirade against Mr. Ferguson helped Liverpool's title chances. But Fabio Aurelio, who won La Liga under Benítez at Valencia, said: 'Every manager tries to play mental games to distract the opposition. It was the right time to say something (against Ferguson). We know everything he said was the truth. The players are behind him.' Parry's impending departure, announced on Friday, is a major breakthrough after two years of infighting at Anfield. A source close to Benítez said: 'Having Rick leave is a big help. Rafael should meet the owners soon, but they have a bit of convincing to do before the deal is completed.' Rafa puts new deals for players on hold until his Liverpool future is resolved | Mail Online Are these players thick or what? To be fair, why would they act any differently when they see the manager constantly fighting his battles in the media. If Benitez needs convincing to sign a new deal with Parry gone, the offer should be withdrawn until the end of the season. Time to call his bluff as if we continue to falter there won't be any offer at all.
  18. I'm not reading anything penned by that slimy cunt. As to the question; he's neither.
