  1. I think your missing my point. Im not saying said players are/were good enough. Some of them were, some of them were most definately not. But there hasn't been a genuine emphasis on replacing these players adequately (or, god forbid, improving on them). If you think we let Yossi go to bring in Joe Cole then your mistaken. I said when we signed him that it would pull the wool over many eyes. Joe is a good player who has been on/off injured for two years. There was no way his wages would have been sanctioned if the yanks didnt know that a) it would get the fans off their back, b) it would make sense commercially as he's a big name and c) it will fool the media into pretending we've made a big signing.
  2. I have looked at it. They've basically just sold £45m of our midfield and replaced it with two free signings and £5m Poulsen. We have a £1m Ngog starting our matches. We bought Glen for a lot less than £20m. Portsmouth owed us £10m from Crouchy. I bet my bottom buck that there was no way in hell we were buying a wingback of his calibre otherwise.
  3. Have you forgotten all the other players we sold that summer and year preceding it? We had a negative net spend. Hence, we did not replace Alonso. We paid the Aquilani number in installments - why do you think that is? Because the Alonso money was going to pay off the debts. Eitherway, I am talking about the here and now - how can you not see that letting go of two of your strongest midfielders for fuck all, and not replacing them (who the fuck are we going to get with 15m, even IF they spend it all) is asset stripping.
  4. None of my examples are daft Simon. They sold all of those players and haven't replaced them, or replaced them adequately. Selling them in the first place is not the qualm - non of it has been reinvested, or at least not nearly enough of it.
  5. It DIDNT make business sense. It makes perfect business sense now. The owners most likely know that they will not sell the club for much more than the value of the debt upon it. The club is already worth fuck all. They will make their profit by selling our fringe players (who, commercially, aren't very exposed or profitable) but by keeping our star names (to make sure we are still relevant on a commercial level). Hence the signing of Joe Cole makes sense.
  6. Its funny how some here was so sure that the owners wouldn't sell off our best players, with no intention to replace them. Benayoun has left for 6m. 6m too little in my opinion, especially to CFC - somebody we should be contesting for the title. Mascherano has gone for a measly fee, 16-18m. Which, again in my opinion, is half the amount he is worth. Thats another top player gone. Aquilani has just confirmed that he will stay at Juve after his year long loan deal, probably for fuck all. He never set the world alight here but there is no doubt that he had talent, and should be a first team starter for us. Alonso went last season and was never replaced (we never spent the money made from his deal) Riera left, with no replacement. Keane left, with no replacement. Who's next? Torres will almost certainly leave next year. Roy isn't getting us into the top 4 this year, even if a fairy-tale injection of funds come along in January (don't bet on it). They are asset striping us. Slowly, but surely. Will they sell Gerrard or Pepe or Nando? Of course not. That would be suicide. But players like Kuyt, Skrtle, Agger, Babel, Lucas will be next to leave. Get used to the Europa.
  7. They certainly are. I think Chicken isn't expressing himself properly. The Isreali people suffered a terrible terrible act of terror and I can't imagine anybody would want to play that down or not understand the impact it has had on the Jewish people. However, quite hypocritically, Isreal as a nation have commited some of the most disgusting crimes to humanity you can speak of. Yet, they excuse themselves of any blame when confronted, because as I said earlier, of their ignorance and arrogance. In regards to Palestine, I think it would be fair to say that they are acting most similarly like that Nazi which they refer to when justifying their own existance. They are a horribly arrogant nation (politically. I dont mean everybody in the nation is horrible, or that every jew is horrible), and the world needs to make them accountable for their actions. EDIT. So yes. I am anti Isreali.
  8. Irish lad, fuck off. Ignorant cunt. I fucking hate, detest, loath Isreal as a county. Israel have always responded to any critisicm with self-righteous indignation and cries of anti-semitism. Snore. They continue to point to the holocaust to rationalise their acts of terror, because as the 'Chosen People' they are, by definition, incapable of evil. Fuck off. Its morally repugnant, and that oh so common case of isreali exceptionism. The holocaust happened. and it was probably worse than anybody here could ever imagine. but they're still one hell of a cuntish country. and so are a lot of jews i've come across. not all ofcourse - just the most i've come across.
  9. 1) I wouldn't get excited mate. 6 Bids means 6 reasons to stall the sale of the club, by which time Huang will be gone (Hes stated he wants it done in the next two weeks, latest.) 2) Consequently, I think its a load of bullshit. H/G and their PR team will be frantically trying to combat this considerably hostile bid, and this is their first move. Let on that there are now 6 bids (even though, as of last week there wasn't fucking one according to Broughton) so RBS have to wait for these to be considered. By which time Huang will fuck off. Who are the bidders? Hicks'/Gillette's friends no doubt. This will play out interestingly.
  10. What a sausage. "If triangles had a God, He'd have three sides." was the one I heard today. Last night I was told I was 'stealing somebody's thunder'. I don't know where thats from either. Im guessing you don't have a clue in regards to the triangles one?
  11. In the past three days, I think i've heard them used on approximately 10 seperate equations. Each time, nobody knew their meaning/background, including me. I wonder if the wise GF can shed light on a few... "If triangles had a God, He'd have three sides." I've searched endlessly but I dont know where it comes from or what it means? Anybody here get it?
  12. I tend to love to hate the idiots of this world. The dumb cunts. There are tons of these. Literally tons. I hate it when the so called learned say "acadamia" instead of "academia". Academia is not a type of nut. Fuck-tard. And why must I sit and watch news reporters tell me about "Afghani" militias and people. Its Afghan, you cunts. Afghani is a currency. Now give me my TV Licence money back. And let us not try and elude the numerous times morons try and ''elude'' to something through their actions. Its eludicrious I say. Society seems to promote idiocy I guess. I spent an hour arguing with a Cambridge student that Donut was formally (formally, not formerly) spelt Doughnut. Needless to say, once he got taught that I was the Big Dick in town, the byotches flocked to me, reminiscent of Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting. As you can tell, I find it hard to make friends.
  13. I actually cant believe people still believe ATK and his ''insider'' knowledge. He knows fuck all. That little story actually made me piss myself. Nearly as much as the fact that people here took it as gospel. Newsflash retards. If there was any truth in this story, every fucking paper would know about it before ATK or Beacroft.
  14. The BNP Tell me Tom, is this what you mean by freedom of speech? A party which blatantly advocates unlawful practices, and promotes kicking the shit out of ya' bird? Is this the reason why you want the BNP to continue to exist? Your wrong. But being the arrogant prick you are, you probably wont admit it.
  15. Racial abuse and prejudice (in all forms) are all against the law too. In open, sure, the BNP may abide within the rules of the law. However, scratching beyond the surface, it is incredibly easy for anybody to uncover blatant racism and prejudice. Your not a fucking idiot, hence you should know this. So, as an organisation, the BNP are a bunch of cunts and don't deserve the platform they are given. A platform they are afforded purely because of people like you - who disagree with something, but are comfortable with it's existance - because it doesnt effect you. The only reason you can sit there and tell me to "deal with it", is because you're not Asian or Black. You do not appreciate how hurtful the BNP are. And to back this up? Tell me Tom, did you have a problem with that American radio presenter? The one who used his "freedom of speech" to disrespect all things related to hillsbrough? Of course you did mate - the only reason your stance differed then is because Hillsbrough is something that effected you more directly. And no, I wont live somewhere else - I live in a democratic country, if something in this country is fucked up, I will fight to sort it out. Not just the BNP, but shortsighted people like yourself.
  16. Why, because you say so? Fuck no, I can call you a cunt right? Freedom of speech. Cunt. I'd say it to your face too - but ofcourse you'd walk away without a care in the world. Right? Wrong.
  17. Right.. So say, to both of you, if I called your mother's a bunch of whores who take it in every hole, would you not physically attack me? If I saw you at a Restaurant Tom, and incessently told you to fuck off because of the colour of your skin, would you not physically attack me? Of course you fucking would. Please dont dare preach that you'd bite your toungue and appease. You'd kick the living lollypops out of me. Yeah thats right, I said living lollypops. Your both wrong - willingly giving the BNP a platform from which they can freely promote the idea of blatant racism in an attempt to brainwash current and future generations is WRONG. And if I ever come across any BNP prick asking me if im a robber because of the colour of my skin, i will gladly beat him until he is as black as those he detests.
  18. Cant say anybody truly gives a fuck about the law. In a nutshell: A) The asian lads are shithouses for spitting. No, not because ''it's disgusting'' - who gives a fuck if it's disgusting. They're shithouses because they didn't follow up the spit with a big fuck off dirty hiding, with a good few weapons and maybe a drop of piss. Spitting and then acting like ''bitch ass niggaz'' just makes you look like a coward. B) The BNP, and every cunt in here who supports them in any sence (Including you, Tom, you cunt) are - as i've already said - a bunch of CUNTS. Freedom of speech my fucking ass. Racist, vile wankers. This statement stands forever and always.
  19. This week has been incredibly depressing for all of us. Did I say week? This year has been incredibly depressing for all of us. And its fairly obvious why. We will probably spend a good amount of time in the next few weeks laying blame where we feel it is deserved. No doubt, Rafa will be on the recieving end of a lot of stick - from our fans, the media and our rivals. I think everybody agrees that he is to blame in some capacity atleast. But what if, as many are predicting, he does go in the coming weeks? I think we will all severly regret not giving him a proper send off. Whatever happens to our formal relationship with our current manager, please take a minute to think about the amount of dedication, drive and class he showed during his time here. He does care about us as fans. His motives have always been genuine - to make us a success. Please lads, at Hull, lets show him that we do appreciate all that he has put into this club. You only know what you have until it's gone. It may be best for us to part ways - but Rafa is most certainly not a cunt, and will most certainly have my full support for the future.
  20. what the fuck is a desmond? a first?
