Rooneys and Ronaldo's diving compilations shit all over Gerrards one. Well, someone needs to take the time to make a Rooney one because i can remember a few terrible efforts from him.

He's alright on TalkSport, don't think he doesn't like the club really, he just isn't very smart. Anyways clearly leaving out Alonso on saturday didn't help us so he has a point to be fair, Rafa has gotten a lot right this season but he definitely didn't need to gamble by resting Alonso.

YouTube - Torres 1-1 Chelsea Anyone who thinks he's a shit waste of space should watch that. One of the few players in the squad with a bit of guile, hope we can replace with a more consistent player who gives us a bit of creativity because it's definitely something we are lacking big time.

No Messi or Riquelme and a few other players have pulled out aswell, plus Scotland won't roll over at home and Argentina have been shocking recently. 4/6 seems a fair price but I wouldn't touch it, betting on friendlies is a no-no for me.

Good performance. Obviously came under pressure before we got the 2nd but the game should have really been over by then anyways. Can enjoy the weekend now, hopefully one of the others will slip up.

Xabi Alonso is my fucking hero. Kuyt has been good too, smashing effort when he hit the bar and it was a superb header. Disappointed with only a 1-0 lead. I'll be gutted if we don't take 3 points but Bolton don't have good players like Spurs so i'm not too worried.

Hope Degen never plays for us again, can't understand why we are signing unwanted players from Dortmund. Crock, horrible positioning, poor technique and no intelligence. Darby is a lot better from the few times i've seen him.

I've defended him up until tonight but can't possibly defend him again. Very poor tonight. Degen was on another level for shitness though, out of position so often forcing our centre backs to cover for him which left us all over the place. Embarassing match.

I do. He should be one of the first names on the team sheet against a team who comes to Anfield to park the bus. Stoke for example, as soon as he came on we looked a lot more dangerous with his ability to make a clever run or dribble past one or two players in a tight space. He is a frustrating player sometimes when he keeps the ball for too long or doesn't shoot quick enough which he has been guilty of against WBA and Pompey. But he is one of the few players who can make something out of nothing for us against a good defence, for example he got us back into the Champions League semi against Chelsea at the Bridge with a superb assist for Torres. Doubt we would have equalized without him as we looked toothless and without much creativity. Yeah I guess the vast majority of reds don't rate him at all but he is a decent squad player for us who should be played more in my opinion. Doesn't have the magic Luis Garcia had but I think he keeps possession better generally, Garcia lost possession a lot, but we could all forgive him for all of the important goals he gave us, shame Benayoun can't do it too.

Good post, we've had some great results this season with a lot of tough fixtures out of the way, being joint top on points with Chelsea so far certainly isn't a disaster, hopefully we can bounce back with the next 6 fixtures.

I agree with that although in the Champions League semi he beautifully set up Nando's goal at Stamford Bridge to get us back in the tie, he's capable of being a good player for us but it's a shame he's so inconsistant.
