Off all addictions gambling is the one Ive never quite understood. A lot of footballers seem to suffer with it. I find it really strange.Not doubting its destructiveness and difficulty, just seems an odd one to me.

Three of that starting line up in Can, Lallana and Coutinho have a tendency to have big drops in form for 7-8 games in a row before they pick up again. Its in those games that we cry out for a top player, a leader, that lifts those around him not just by passion but by leading by example with the ball and demanding they match it.

My worry there is we are starting to lack in height and physical presence in the midfield/final third. That said, with more and more money being spent by the lower league clubs, they are actually starting to try and play football- dinosaurs like Allardyce are retiring and it works in our favour. Even Stoke try and win games. Ironically the biggest culprits of killing the game against us were United. Shitcoat simply wouldn't contemplate losing
