    S31, I'm not (for once!) criticising Labour. I think their immigration ploicy over the last few years has been excellent. They have, however, had to lie to their core vote (& again I am not criticising: the Tories do the same with Europe: the EU is wonderful but no Tory will ever say that) Our politicians have always done this: Hanging?     haha, but they are not actually being ruthless but in fact dithering as she faces 2 completely different constituents (there is a German election early May).....     Maybe I have missed the correct thread (in which case apologies) but surely this is a neat summary of the most important global political question we now face.....
