  1. But Hicks could have full control by then. I just get the feeling DIC are going to have to offer mega bucks to even tempt Hicks to move on.
  2. Everyone is just assuming that Hicks won't be able to refinance in 18 months time, though. I think if he was determined to stay he'd have no problems raising the capital, especially if he brings backers on board.
  3. Just don't get this view point at all. If they want the club they're eventually going to have to dig deep, regardless of the relationship between the Americans. Why wait? Bot of straw clutching going on as far as DIC are concerned. It sounds like they're beaten and have scuttled off to lick their wounds, chipping in with the odd hollow statement.
  4. Rafa will have known who was in every meeting. I think last weeks outburst was just him sticking the knife into Parry and solidifying his own position.
  5. The current debt stands at 105 million doesnt it? With the rest on Kop holdings. There's a lad on RAWK who explained it all, and how they've both put their own assets up as part of the whole package, which is legal and binding. If new backers came in and took on that current debt, just leaving us to borrow for the new stadium, would you be swayed then?
  6. The lazy thing is harsh. If he was at a top club like ours where there's higher expectations, I think we'd see a different character. Or not. Great player though.
  7. PR or not, he seems pretty confident he can do just that. I don't see how it's any different from DIC taking over and saying all the right things and then proceeding to load the club with debt and raping the fans to pay for it, which is what will surely will happen. They might have more reserves, but who's to say they would dip into that if things went wrong, and instead just decide to sell us on. Not sure of the exact figures but don't Arsenal have huge debt which they seem to be managing ok and still making a profit in the process? Surely with the stadium up and running that will be our aim? It's a model built on success on the pitch, yes, but that's just the risk you have to take without a bored sugar daddy.
  8. Useless cunt that Parry. Sick of him hiding his incompetence and failure behind the 'Liverpool Way', which used to be about being the best.
  9. Lets say Hicks did find backers and the debt was wiped clean, would that change anyone's opinion? Or has it is gone beyond that and is now a personal thing, which, I have to say, don't really understand.
  10. This from the same idiot who is proven wrong time and time again with his snippets of crap insider info he's heard on the golf course, and yet some people are still taken in. You can safely assume that the opposite of what he says will happen.
  11. The current lower turnover is down to matchday revenue. Without the new stadium we just can't compete with London ticket prices and Uniteds huge capacity, which, to be fair, is not all Parry's fault. Moores and the board dithered for years over the new ground and set us back yet again.
  12. God help DIC if they say the wrong thing...sorry, Allah.
  13. If it couldn't get any worse, they wheel this twat out.
  14. I think I'd probably agree with a lot of what SOS says if it wasn't for the lobbying and openly welcoming of DIC to take over. Just contradicts everything they're supposed to stand for. The images of 'SOS Dubai' and 'Yanks out' banners on the Kop will haunt me forever, and will be used as yet another stick to beat us with in the future.
  15. You know what they say about these paranoid militant minority groups... You aint see me, roight...
  16. Alrigtht Citizen Smith. Lets see if your socialist dream is still in place when DIC take over.
  17. Owners and fans who can't stay out of the press. Yipee! If a flash mob of 50 angry heads singing anti American songs outside a players restaurant can't get rid of Hicks, nothing will. We few, we lucky few, we band of brothers.
  18. Technical abilty, heart, a football brain and winners mentality.
  19. Well exactly. Too many want a sugar daddy, though.
  20. To protect him from potential injury. Why take the risk if 4th is pretty much sewn up. Itanje isn't that bad anyway, just new.
