  1. Let's hope that he gets the same kind of reward in the premier league after the forthcoming season! Just can't get enough!
  2. Suarez has been voted as the tournaments best player. Well deserved Luis.
  3. Good post. Our oppositions will be shit scared of our strike force. I trust King Kenny and will not question his decisions, mind he's the King.
  4. Really hope Uruguay win this, because it will give Suarez a confidence boost and he will be banging in goals for us when the season starts.
  5. Just hope he survives this game, they will kick him to pieces if this continues...
  6. I just can't get enough!!! Can't wait for the season to start, Suarez is fucking brilliant!!!
  7. Damn, the players are more expensive this season. Am I wrong or is this the first year they raise the players transfer fees because they have changed clubs? Adam and Carroll is for example suddenly worth 3-4 million more than last season.
  8. Yes, I think that is the case here. We pay huge wages to squad players, and that is the main reason why we have to sell before we can buy now. If we could get rid of for example Cole we suddenly have released enough wages for a world class player like Aguero. But sadly the high wages they are on makes them very difficult to get rid of.
  9. Yes, the most important thing now is that he's 100% fit. Really hope his groin problems will be gone now after the operation. If it's true he's had groin problems for years now, it's no wonder why we almost haven't seen him firing his rocket shot lately. Don't know if it is just my imagination, but it's like he has changed his shooting technique, he's shooting more with the inside of the foot rather than shooting with his instep. I miss to see the ball fly into the net after a Gerrard rocket. This is what I miss, what a fantastic player he is :
  10. Anyone know how Gerrard's rehabilitation is going? Haven't seen any pics of him training with the other players, so I will be very surprised if he's ready for the Sunderland match. Would be fantastic if we could get back the "real" Gerrard this season, it would be like signing a world class player. Fingers crossed.
  11. Crap! I wish could have seen this thread before my lunch. Bet he'd tasted than the dry bread I ate for lunch...
  12. Yes, thank Fowler for that. I really hope Downing get's a good start, because we really need more pace and better delivery from the wide players. Fingers crossed...
  13. Stewart Downing will wear number 19 this season. Just hope this number hasn't been jinxed by the recent players wearing this shirt, which have not been very successfull at the club. Torben Piechnik, Mark Kennedy, Brad Friedel, Pegguy Arphexad, Fernando Morientes, Ryan Babel is previous owners of this number.
  14. Can't really understand why mr Henry has gone public with this. Seems like a stupid thing to do. Aquilani was our best player yesterday, but for fucks sake it was a pre season friendly against a pretty shit team. Ngog has used to play quite well against poor teams, in pre season friendles and early stages of e-league, but he falls through in premier league because he simply is not good enough. I like Aquilani, but it is the managers job too decide if a player should stay or go. Hopefully King Kenny doesn't get bothered by this, because we certainly don't need any distractions and conflicts right now. We had enough of that under the last regime...
  15. Ok, thanks. Hahaha, so if he is like N'gog then his ancles is next on the check list...
  16. I'm delighted with this signing! Finally we got a really good wide player. Nice too see King Kenny being backed by the owners and getting the players he wants. Now if we could get in a decent left back and a backup striker + getting rid of some deadwood, I would consider this transfer window as a huge success. Can't wait for the season to start!
  17. According too The Times Liverpool, Tottenham, Real Madrid and Man Utd are chasing Siena and Ivory Coasts rising star Souleymane Coulibaly. He looks like a real talent and was fantastic in the u-17 world cup in Mexico. YouTube - ‪Souleymane Coulibaly - 'The Next African Superstar' FIFA World Cup U-17 Mexico 2011‬‏
  18. CA: Thinking; Hmmm, doesn't John remind me of a song...? CA: Yes, now I remember :
  19. Giggs. I hate to admit it but he was a fantastic player when he was on top of his career. Overmars was good, but not even close too Giggs standard. But than I have to say that Giggs never reached John Barnes's level...
