  1. At the party leadership hustings, at the Liverpool conference centre, that lying bastard Starmer drew a round of applause by stating that he wouldn't deal with the rag. To those now saying the party should unite behind Starmer, ask yourself where the lawyer's own loyalty was when Corbyn was leader. Now, Starmer's treatment of his predecessor has moved from political manoeuvring to pure, petulant, immature spite. The Labour Party as it is and, I presume, as Starmer and his acolytes will keep it, is not an electoral option for many misled socialists.
  2. Good God - Leeds are truly fucking abysmal! The whole game has been a fucking shitfest and Leeds have contributed more than their fair share of excrement. Over to watch The Owl smile as Watford concede a second.
  3. I think the stuff I viewed was from his Hafnia period, although I think there was one of his works that cold be dated around the time he was influenced by Chang. But, yes - Boooo!
  4. Yves Klein. Saw an exhibition at Tate Liverpool a few years ago. The intensity of his colour is quite brilliant but it did tend to be a bit ..... blue.
  5. Enjoyable hearing and reading all the outrage over our correctly awarded penalty today. If we hadn't been the victim of a horrendous piece of officiating for Palace's goal - being offside in a phase of play in which you score means the goal shouldn't stand - our sloppiness wouldn't have been an issue. So fuck Palace, fuck Vieri, fuck Carragher, fuck Sky and fuck the Dave Clark Five!
  6. We've all been like that kid at one time, but I blame his fucking father for making him support the shite. If they're not using their children as head guards in fist fights they're torturing with trips to Anglia to watch relegation battles. Evertonians are just demented.
  7. Ordinary stuff from both sides. One swing of the boot - and a bit of shite goalkeeping - settles quite an ordinary game. That's what's makes Liverpool such an attraction: dazzling, unpredictable, sometimes chaotic, often brilliant but never ordinary. We'll be City's closest challengers from now on and the league still has a lot of games left. Yet, whatever the outcome, we're the team to watch.
  8. Looking at that shite at the final whistle and Steven Gerrard is still the best footballer on the pitch.
  9. Krawietz displayed a Stasi trained silence on names, places and tactics. Masterful!
  10. Thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass. I share my bigoted view of the game with close friends - yes, I have some - and family. Some of these younger folk wouldn't know real footballing bias iif it wheelied pass them on an electric bike - and don't get me started on their reasonable appraisal of matches they've seen: "City are a good team"! Brainwashed by the know nothings on Sky and BT. We've lost the game to statistics and fair mindedness.
  11. No need to aologise: your viewpoint is as valid as mine, but this time, incredibly, I'll go with Anthony Taylor's and VAR's decision on the incident. Maybe a word with Azpilicueta over his dreadful play acting was in order.
  12. Unless Mane puts his sweatband around the crook of his arm that is no normally formed human's elbow. Got a yellow and that's just about right, maybe a little harsh coming so early in the game.
  13. Relevant to something other than what we're all watching, but I agree with you that they have a passion for a certain form of recognition.
  14. Love Souness, who broke a player's jaw with a punch, saying Mane's 'wristing' of Azpilicueta was violent. The idiocy of the pundits and the commentators beggars belief.
  15. Hey! Think of my feelings, wiil you? Depressed enough with tonight's result without being told that members of an internet site don't 'lilke' me. I'm going to worry about it all night now. Thanks, you callous bastard!
  16. Poor performance. In fact it was a fucking awful performance against a rag tag outfit coached by a fucking rag tag manager. Writing the league off in December seems to come very easily to some of the gobshites on this site but there is a way to go and lots of games to play. City aren't infallible; they're in a strong position, but so were we last Christmas and look what happened. Anyway, for anyone feeling suicidal after tonight's result I suggest that you follow your heart. For the others, keep hope alive.
  17. The thick cunt was trying to hit Matip in the head again likwe he did earlier. Oliver should have booked him for dangerous play.
  18. I thought Keita's day was summed up when he got an arm in the back of the head and then got booked for complaining. Not a great day for him.
  19. It was a great game of football for those who don't really know much about football.
  20. This Newcastle team and their supporters deserve each other .... and the relegation they surely will suffer.
