Sorry for being ignorant, mate, but given what you say, why was he there? Given his dodgy past, why include him? Did he give us anything a young (clean) rider couldn't? I'd rather a young cyclist get the chance. As a drug cheat, what could he provide? Chambers(100m), ok - we have shit sprinters, but was Millar that good that he needed to be included? I had a go once, about 30 years ago. A mate played for Birkenhead (who were the British Champions in the 80's, I think) and I used to take the piss out of him and say it was crap compared to football (it is really, isn't it?). He got me to go in goal once and it was embarassing not getting near the ball. I was athletic and skinny back then, so in my current state would make amore formidable obstacle. So, if we form a TLW handball team, I'll volunteer for goalie

Thanks for the explanation, RR. Don't blame them. We had our tactics and they developed counter measures! Did you think Millar did enough to help out? I hardly remember him being mentioned. It seemed to be Wiggins, Stannard and Froome that took responsibility. Does Millar have another event?
