  1. Huge Hands too. Very Disturbing.
  2. Take a monkey with you. Preferably one carrying a knife.
  3. Right then, whilst wandering aimlessly around the auto websites I came across this little nugget from evo magazine. Group B is back | evo Which takes us to this site, rallyegroupeb.com - Hosted by One.com Webhosting Now visiting Oulton parks site I cant see anything specific to this event, unless its part of the Gold cup weekend. Oulton Park - Race Event - The Oulton Park Gold Cup Anyway its piqued my interest enough to pop along once its confirmed.
  4. Oh you can bet that's gone through Lucas's mind on more than one occasion
  5. Dont tell anyone but I did actually rewind that bit, just to make sure.
  6. Got the box set on Tuesday. So far we've watched episodes 1-4 in sequence. Episodes 1-3 were still as bad as I remember but looked good on blu-ray and the sound was really quite incredible, (Seismic charges in ep 2 nearly shattered the windows!) Episode 4 was a joy to behold....again. The most interesting point of note more or less sums up this threads views, I sat with my 2 boys throughout. Episodes 1-3 they were watching it, amazed at the visuals but constantly asking questions as to who was who and why did they do that. Episode 4 was watched in near silence. As I predicted the opening sequence was greeted by a quiet "wow did you see that"! And after it had finished they didn't ask a question, other than can they watch it again, they never asked to see 1-3 again straight after. Tomorrow its Empire. Cant wait.
  7. 4.8%! Thats barely mouthwash in my house. 7.1% and not a percentage point less is where its at. Fuge where do you get that Kasteel Blond?, seems up my street that.
  8. I swear to God that Royal Mail sit watching your house before they attempt a delivery. I nipped out for literally 10 minutes and theres a card through the door telling me I can pick my parcel up in 48 hours (Bank Holidays) So no Star Wars until Turesday. Arse! I'll dig out my tatty old copy of 633 Squadron, it'll set my boys up nicely for the Death star attack scene instead.
  9. Such a heavy decision to make, especially as the thread is split down the middle. I have a day until the boxset arrives. I'm still leaning towards episode four, just for the sheer scale of the opening scene, no child ever forgets that. Cheers all, I'll let you know how it went.
  10. Help me General Forum, your my only hope.... My first born has reached that age where important decisions need making. The first of which is his first viewing of Star Wars. My intention is to start at Episode IV then Empire and Jedi, and sort of forget about eps 1-3. However he watches the Clone wars on the Cartoon Network and I fear this may confuse him. Do I follow the proper path or start at episode 1 and have done with it? I have ordered the complete Blu-Ray collection in anticipation of this momentous occasion (£49.99 at Tesco entertainment before taking 15% off if spending over £15.00 and 8% with Quico !!!!!)
  11. Good watch that. Remember going to the Albert dock in about 1985 to see them off on the Lombard, Tony Pond in a 6R4 and Toivonen in the Delta S4 who I think won it that year. Remember reading an article years ago in Autocar that basically said the only man who could drive an S4 was Toivonen and it still killed him. The mental Group S Delta ECV would have gone to an even higher level as it was supposed to start at 600bhp! It was exciting but it had run its course, group N wasn't quite the same but a lot safer. Oh and as for Michelle Mouton.....
  12. Know theres a few on here interested in the Old Group B, Well theres a Documentary on BBC4 this Sunday (1st April) BBC Four - Madness on Wheels: Rallying's Craziest Years The Clip more or less sums up Group B, Fast and Deadly. Used to love watching it though, Modern rallying just isn't the same.
  13. The movie details are still a bit sketchy World War Z (2013) - IMDb Thought there may have been a trailer by now. I did read the book and its a lot better than I thought, basically a collection of short stories knitted together. Not sure how the film will work tbh but some of those stories would make great set pieces like....(spoiler)...... Warning! The following content is NOT WORK SAFE. Click the Show button to reveal. Like the Indian Major defending the pass, the Chinese submarine part or the Soldiers advancing in to the mist to a Smiths track!
  14. If its good enough for Stirling Moss, then its good enough for a mere mortal like me...
  15. Great news he's Stable. Quite harrowing watching it and trying to explain to 2 children whats happening Well done to both teams medical staff in reacting so quickly.
  16. Theres every chance that will be his last visit to Anfield. 10 years of winning fuck all, The pennys bound to drop soon.
  17. On iplayer now Listed under "Storyville" BBC iPlayer - Storyville: 2011-2012: Fire in Babylon
  18. If your other lens is fine then its unlikely to be the camera body or settings. Might be worth going to a Camera shop and asking for advice? I'm a little out of my depth with Nikon gear mate so sorry I cant help any.
  19. Right Look at this picture then and compare it to your lens. http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/images1/55-200mm-vr/KEN_9409-1200.jpg The line of silver blobs are the contacts, are they all the same height? Or to the far right of the mount is a lever which may or may not move, (I'm no Nikon expert!) Other than that I cant help.
